Actually, Parents should be held accountable for their child's stupidity and misdeeds, raise 'em right, this shit doesn't happen. Raise 'em like a criminal, guess what... Your 12 yo goes to prison.

😂

He definitely should have consequences but 10 years?

🤷♂️

Weren't arson, cruelty to animals, and bedwetting past age five were found to be predictors of future serial killers? Don't know, but it sounds pretty serious, probably needs to be psychoanalyzed.

No. He should be punished but also given a second chance. It’s possible at 12 he can do a 180 and be a productive member of society.

absolutely... once an arsonist, always an arsonist.

He should be incarcerated until he's 82. This is seriously psychotic behavior and he endangered the lives of everyone in that store, not to mention the damages.

I'm appalled at the number of people who are saying, no, he should be given a chance. He's 12! Not 5! He knew what he was doing and this is probably not the first time he has done this. If he was given a mental evaluation then they know he has tendencies to do this again. Parents should also have to pay Walmart.

Don't say woman, in case the 9 year old is pregnant and women have a penis. This is an NHS worker who should not be in the NHS.
