@j0ker937 I will hire him today. Raise and full benefits. That little heathen deserves worse than what he got.

@CRRJA5 Sometimes a teenager needs an attitude adjustment. That Resource Officer gave it to him.

Guaranteed that kid was allowed to hit his parent(s) since toddlerhood. A huge mistake too many parents make.

Neither. He did his job perfectly. Neutralized the issue. Took the kid to ground with no punches, etc.

Raise….teachers cannot touch students (especially minors), even to defend….how did we get here? Banned:

Give that man a raise. If you let these self-entitle snot nose bitches attack people without consequence, they will only get worse in time.

If the parents don't discipline their children they will.

Give that man a raise! That’s the first consequence to bad behavior that kid ever had.

A raise. Violent behavior by students should not be ignored. If parents won't teach their children respect for others and refuse to discipline their children, they leave others no choice but to physically intervene. That bully needed to be body slammed to learn real life consequences. Stop coddling kids, it teaches them that life has no consequences, they will get a rude awakening in the real world.

Geez, parents start giving your kid a smack on the ass when they're bad. My son would have NEVER did this.

@j0ker937 Come to a state where they encourage consequences and we will give you a job and a raise.

That teenager was out of control and had he not been slammed to the ground and put under control. Who knows what would’ve happened that teenager was not gonna quit. Yes people have rights but this officer really didn’t have a choice. He would’ve fought with him if he would’ve tried to handcuff him. That teenager already had assaulted two individuals.

@KEVINMAGA2024 That kid got the lesson he should have gotten at home. If parents aren’t going to teach these lessons, someone will! Also, every kid watching learned a valuable lesson that day! H*ll no, this school resource officer should not be fired.

Give that officer a raise! I come from the generation when another adult could put you over their lap and spank you for misbehaving, and your mother would thank them for it.

He did what was necessary. If that kid was that disresptful, 20 minutes of time out isn't the answer. Peace through strength.

Raise! This is what happens when parents don't teach their children to follow rules. Punk will end up in prison. Seen it before. 😎🙏🏻🇺🇸

The constant need to either "elevate the why" (excuses) or blame parents (excuses) STILL removes the responsibility from the teen (old enough to know better). Not all badly behaved teens were allowed, ignored, abused, neglected - whatever. But what if they were? Stop looking at the why and start dealing with the now. The officer did his job exactly as he should have and the student has the choice to learn from this and change - or not. Had anyone seen one of my sons at that age, they'd have blamed someone - meanwhile not giving a shit what others thought, we fought tooth and nail to get support, work with professionals, get creative and we never gave up. He's now a well adjusted adult, because I ignored the noise from teachers, ignored the noise from everyone - and focused on my son. He wasn't violent, but his high IQ made him outsmart adults constantly and do stupid shit constantly and he was headed for a life of crime. Meanwhile, his two brothers (same house, same circumstances, same parents) never once were like this. They didn't have a charmed life but they learned it was all their choice how to work with what they had (they've all succeeded). Parents make the mistake of allowing empathy to make excuses and then they go soft & weak. We have a blame & excuse problem with our youth. You can care, love and support without turning into a puddle of tears.
