No. He’s never been a good pitcher without Spider Tack. He’s not a good person. He’s not a good teammate. He is extremely thin-skinned. He’d be an awful fit for the pressure of NY. There is literally nothing about him that suggests he would succeed with the Yankees.

I'd do Bauer on a one year cheap deal before I did Stroman on a multi year expensive deal...at least with Bauer, you can sign him cheaply enough to cut him if he can't do the job or if he acts up again.

He and Gerrit Cole have beef with each other. I don’t think they would make a move like this they would have done so already and definitely made the a title contender. NY Mets should definitely scoop him up
