Should you always tip your DoorDash/UberEats drivers?

these folks should be paid more by DoorDash and Uber. Period.

Tipping should not be an expectation. Tips are usually given depending on service. If you’re not making enough from driving to pickup/deliver food, find a different source of income.

No. You tip someone as an optional extra if they’ve provided a good service. It’s not the job of customers to pay staff to do their job, it’s the job of employers to pay properly. Not paid enough? Change the US culture of not paying people enough to live on. Find a better job.

Yeah you should tip but when you're paying a delivery fee and a service fee already its easy to assume you're paying for the service already. What would be great is if the apps just paid the driver a fair amount and charged me for it so I don't have to guess how much it costs.

A tip is not just a tip. It’s 80% of their income. If you don’t like that, don’t order door dash.

I hate these services because they make you tip before the delivery arrives. Should be after to incentivize good service. IMHO.
