Great success with coming to the appointment with a copy of your medical records in a binder. Then three post-it notes with flags, with questions, to present to your doctor or specialist. This expedites treatment! Then include a blank sheet in the binder for notating what the doc recs. Successful patient, prepared, patient power!

PS - Your recs are great Dr. Oz, Tesekkur Ederim! We need more Turkish farming, cooking habits in America. The Med diet goes a long way, as does the way it is grown, processed and prepared. Enjoy the lovely dueling Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque.

You can also ask your physician to dictate his medical notes and instructions in an e-mail to the patient.

“Should I” be an impatient patient? No. But so many doctors are the very contributing factors why more and more patients are becoming impatient.
