I don’t know why Gadkari-ji is promoting Ethanol. He is the Road Transportation & Highways minister - not Petroleum minister. Honestly he has done a pretty good job as a transportation minister(compared to his predecessors). Now this whole ethanol scam is ruining his own legacy.

Till few days back, he was the Hercules, taking all the credit and promoting ethanol as if he is the only policy maker in the country, as soon as things started getting against him, took the shelter of court, and made sure nobody questions him why he was promoting it till now.

This is the definition of having it both ways — promote ethanol on every podcast and public platform, then walk into the High Court and say "I have nothing to do with it." You either own the policy or you don't. You can't be the face of E20 in the media and a bystander.

Tehseen bhai didn't make the E20 policy, so don't be angry with him. He just wants to solve this in normal way. But if the people at the top are arrogant and don't want to listen, there's no point in talking to them

He must go, because you think so 🤔 that's not how it works. Ethanol blending officially began in 2003, it's moving as per plan. The only thing agreeable is cheaper blended fuel, but state governments should reduce tax.
