I struggled to get out of Bronze, currently Silver 1, but, it's hard when you have teammates such as Spidey going 1 and 7, one healer-me, and the rest useless DPS or braindead tanks. It's a bit of luck as well. Can't play with bad teammates against smurfs that fry your ass

Honestly, yeah. If you're struggling that bad in Bronze and Silver you aren't making good decisions. In that scenario it won't be everybody else's fault all the time.

not sure i agree with this take. I achieved high-ish ranks in Val & CS & when I tried Overwatch I was stuck in Bronze for a while despite feeling like I was decent mechanically. Id never played that type of game before & I had to learn a ton before eventually getting past diamond

I had the same discussion about gm even tho you have one game toptier callouts and another, where you do not have a regrp or reset. Still skillissue
