I disagree that a foreign language which is not African should be made compulsory in Ghana. We are sick and tired of colonization through education which prevents our citizens to attain higher education.

we started teaching French in our Primary, Junior High and the Senior High, but we can’t tell if all those French students can even speak the language… so absolutely no need for those foreign languages again

Do we even have good qualified teachers to teach them? The English I learnt in Ghana is totally different from what I'm speaking here in the UK, meanwhile that's the most dominant foreign language with more and good teachers we think we have. SMH

Good idea! How ever based on what foundation? All our subject being taught from grade 1-9 are foundation subjects to prepare us for the electives or courses in Senior High. Now let’s say a student wants to opt for German or Chinese, …..
