Right after, we got on that same road with MPP John Vanthof, not knowing if it would stay open. Everywhere we go up here in the North, it’s the same story. Maintenance was privatized and the quality fell off a cliff. Plowing is late. Inspections aren’t happening. And people are dying on these roads. We've introduced legislation four times to make Northern Highways Safer – but Doug Ford's government said no every time. Every time. But we will keep fighting for the good people in the North.
