Because over 35% of all international students come from India—more than 3.5x the next highest country. Because exploitation isn’t a side effect, it’s the foundation of this program. Because young Indian students are treated as cheap labour for big box retailers. Because criminals were slipped in under the guise of students—bringing violence, fear, and intimidation. Because it’s the Indian community in Canada paying the highest price—through rising racism and resentment from the rest of the country. Greed won but Community lost.

Which would imply that Indian police forces may have intentionally not shared criminal records of applicants where they exist. Minister Miller also rejected claims made by India's Foreign Minister Jaishankar that Canada's system was lax in welcoming Indian criminals into its country. It is unclear from Jaishankar's statement why the Modi regime would allow criminals to leave India if it is known to Indian officials that they are wanted criminals there. The Sikh community has believed for time now that India is intentionally hiding criminal records from Canadian immigration officials of Indian applicants for temporary visas. If romanian democracy falls, the entire world democratic system is at risk. Romania is part of EU, NATO and is one of the most important allies of the US in the Eastern Europe. If international community just stays indiferrent and enjoys the horrible political show that is playing now in Romania, this will leed to an international legal precedent where a constitutional court will take the power of the vote from the people and give it always to the politicians. That will be the end of democracy as we know it, world wide. EU are you watching? US are you listening?

I don’t understand how a student population of nearly half a million from India can be blamed solely on the Liberals when it was Conservative MP Tim Uppal who originally spearheaded the policy, and once Canada became number one, fought against deportations to keep them in the country.
