Shuttles returning from "space" are faked using a large glider that looks like a shuttle. The glider is lifted by a helicopter to a high altitude and then dropped and remotely piloted to the landing zone. 🚀

Can you explain the sonic boom that occurs during the "gliders" re-entry? I remember that happening when I lived in LA in the 80's...shuttle re-entered, and sonic boom. Can you do that with a helo??

That’s not even the current shuttle design , likely a test for a future version. Most of these posts of “proof” are always test runs of actual events. They do practice these things. Heck my kid has t-ball practice weekly and he can’t even drive yet.

This is very likely an aerospace test of the said glider. A CH-47 helicopter would never reach a high enough altitude to pull this off unnoticed.
