And when he actually asked Mamdani about abolishing prisons and borders, Mamdani completely dodged it and Jon accepted his non-answer with a strange fanboy giggle. You’d think someone with Jon Stewart’s reputation for grilling politicians would see right through this kind of propaganda. But he didn't even push back! Which leaves us with a much bigger question: is Jon Stewart just getting naive in his old age, or is he actually on board with the socialists' agenda?

We need more thoughtful criticism and comedy from people with the kind of platform Jon Stewart has, that takes into account what’s really at stake. Stewart later called it “a pretty good bit that expressed kind of how I felt.” So, credit where credit is due. Stewart spoke the truth that was obvious to most conservatives and he didn’t back down from the censors and cancel-culture cultists on his own side of the political aisle.
