Hey everyone! Before we play our first match, I’d like to share a bit about our offseason. This is one of the most important times of the year for any team, and we made sure to make the most of it. We started tryouts with only 8 days of rest after the previous season ended. We didn’t waste a second. We wanted to be ready, and to do so, we tested between 30 and 35 players, becoming the team that conducted the most tryouts. We gave opportunities to everyone: players with previous experience, those without, T2 players, ranked grinders… If we saw potential, we opened the doors. Our goal was clear from the start: find young grinders hungry to compete and eager to learn. We were looking for talent we could develop and take to the top here at GIANTX. This reflects our philosophy: not just signing stars but building them, betting on the future, and nurturing young talent. I also want to give a massive shoutout to GX Cloud and Liquid purp0 , who worked tirelessly to make this offseason a success. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to secure not only the best players in terms of skill but also those who align perfectly in terms of synergy and personal values. It’s been an intense and exciting offseason full of key decisions. Now, we’re ready to take on the new season with everything we’ve got. Boos at the end of games at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium have become so normal this season under Thomas Frank. Full focus now on what the board will deliver at the club in the next couple of transfer windows because this isn't good enough, the fans deserve much better. The recruitment needs to be top quality to make a real difference. One huge positive at the moment is we are still only 4 points from the top 5. A few really good signings in January, a few positive changes... and we could compete for a European place for next season. #COYS #THFC

He did it! Preston Lobliner hit 400lbs high-box-squat during football season! He struggled on this one - for the rest of the season we will stick to doubles and triples. Gaining strength in-season is the goal and usually doesn’t happen, but Preston is diligent with his programming. And once again, I hate having to say this, but WE KNOW that this isn’t a full squat. We do those as well. It’s just another tool in the toolbox.

Indy will come back strong. McConnell and Halliburton are not blaming the refs. They know they have to play better and probably will. They are such a fast team. Skilled and actually fun to watch. It will be tough. We need OG healthy. The national media gives us no respect, in fact has antipathy towards us. Instead of telling the story of how this team has battled to second place in the conference after losing 3 starters most of the season and now, depleted and with a very small rotation, is winning against tough conference rivals and sending them home, they talk about how much they want us to lose and how we can’t last. But. We know. We know who we are. And what we do. And it’s undeniable. We have a special team. And that team is led by this person ⬇️. I like our chances.

Real Club Valderrama hosted its first event on the LIV Golf League in 2023 and has been a staple on the schedule since. The GM, Javier Reviriego, says they are very happy with their partnership and they will be looking to renew their contract when it’s up next season. Speaking to Flushing It Golf, Javier said: “We're very happy. I mean, for us, the event has been great, giving us a lot of visibility. “The best thing is to have these great players here. I mean, these players, we would have never dreamed of having them here in a DP World Tour event. That's a fact. “And we couldn't dream of bringing a PGA Tour event to Spain because I don't think that was ever going to happen either. So, we wanted this quality of players, and there was no choice, really.” LIV Golf Andalucía is just 5 weeks away and the build out is currently going up all over the course, with a huge hospitality area on the bank behind the 17th green striking an imposing presence. Advertising boards promoting the event greet arrivals at Gibraltar Airport and they are in the process of thickening the rough to make the course as challenging as ever. Javier says he has spoken to league executives who assure him it’s business as usual and Valderrama are even considering some renovations to the golf course to help improve the venue for future years. Getting harder and harder to keep an actual physical shop open,the way the club has stopped people taking bags in the ground and the extra searches we think that it’s having a massive effect on our sales,a lot of our business in the beginning was mates and locals unfortunately due to the cost and hassle of now the way it’s gone to get tickets a lot have stopped going the game,most games this season the shop has been really quiet but we have to keep it stocked the best we can,a lot of the online companies doing what we do are print to order so don’t have to keep stock hopefully things will pick back up as we love having the shop open on matchdays 👍but also we would have to weigh up the cost of running the building and upkeep so if you want to keep local business going please support them on a matchday 👍

Last night, an elderly woman passed away due to the bitter cold, after being deprived of the most basic necessities of life that could have saved her. This morning, she was mourned and laid to rest, in a painful scene that reflects the harsh reality we are living. I cannot comprehend how we have come to lose one another to cold and hunger in such a tragic way. Israel continues to prevent the entry of blankets, warm clothing, and anything that could help us shield ourselves from the cold that gnaws at our bodies every night. We are still living through one of the worst forms of genocide, as the world turns its eyes away from Gaza, as if the tragedy has ended, while in truth it continues in all its cruel details.

I had a good meeting with the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen Statsministeriet. We discussed the continuation of military support and direct investments in Ukraine’s defense industry. Denmark is one of the leaders in supporting our state and is preparing the 26th package of military aid for Ukraine. This support helps save lives, and we deeply appreciate it. We also talked about the negotiations in Istanbul and the coordination of diplomatic efforts with the U.S. and European partners. We share the view that pressure on Russia is crucial if they refuse to agree to a ceasefire. In July this year, Denmark will begin its Presidency of the EU Council. We are counting on their support for Ukraine’s European integration, which we discussed during the meeting. I thank the Government and all the people of Denmark for every form of assistance to our state and for their unwavering support of our people.

If you think pre season is a joke then you have no idea how difficult it is for players to stay in shape and most of this training are connected to how the team wants to play during the season. This is what the first few days in the pre season looks like and medicals like blood test, flexibility check, mobility test, VO2Max test, and the heart test to see if the heart is healthy. My personal view on pre season test is that I hated the VO2Max test and if you are not fit enough the pass the test which usually last for just 15 minutes. When I was at Vitesse Arnhem and Red star Belgrade my medicals took 3days to be completed and it was the longest I ever had. If you don't take your off season trainings seriously you will be exposed on the first day of pre season test and you will be in trouble with the coach.
