Hate in the Heart of Bengaluru: Hotel GS Suites Publicly Abuses Kannadigas How can a hotel in Bengaluru openly display abusive language against Kannadigas on an LED screen? This happened at Hotel GS Suites in Koramangala, right in the heart of Karnataka’s capital. It’s absolutely shameful and outrageous that a community is being insulted in its own state like this. The hotel owner’s actions are not just irresponsible they are deeply offensive and divisive. Allowing such language to be displayed publicly shows a complete lack of respect for the people of Karnataka and their culture. This isn’t just a mistake; it’s a deliberate provocation. Strict action must be taken immediately. Authorities should seal the hotel and ensure the owner faces legal consequences. If we stay silent now, it sets a dangerous precedent for more such disrespect in the future. Kannadigas deserve respect in their own land. This kind of behavior will not be tolerated #bangalore #bengaluru #kannada Koramangala Police Station Karnataka State Police S. Ikkada road undali kada saar...! This is Bengaluru’s Silk Board after last night’s heavy rain. The entire stretch turned into what looked more like a swimming pool than one of the city’s busiest junctions. Even the newly constructed metro station area was completely waterlogged, raising serious concerns about Bengaluru’s infrastructure and drainage planning. Vehicles were struggling to move through the flooded roads while commuters were left stranded in traffic chaos. Despite massive development projects and ongoing metro construction, the city continues to face the same flooding issues every monsoon. Roads disappearing under water has now become a regular scene in Bengaluru whenever heavy rain hits the city. It is shocking to see such severe waterlogging around a newly built metro corridor that was supposed to improve urban mobility and infrastructure. Citizens are once again questioning how crores are being spent on development while basic drainage problems remain unsolved. Silk Board, already infamous for traffic congestion, now turns into a swimming pool every time it rains heavily. DK Shivakumar S. The current state of roads in Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India, is nothing short of alarming. Despite citizens paying hefty road taxes, the city’s infrastructure, particularly its roads, is riddled with massive potholes and craters, making daily commuting a nightmare. The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), the governing body responsible for maintaining the city's infrastructure, seems to be in a state of perpetual slumber, unable to address this critical issue due to sheer negligence and inefficiency. Is this truly the vision we had for "Brand Bengaluru"? A city that aspires to be a global tech hub, yet struggles with basic road maintenance? Instead of smooth, well-maintained streets that reflect the city's reputation as a leading IT capital, we have roads that resemble the surface of the moon. Such a situation not only tarnishes the city's image but also poses serious safety hazards to its residents, leading to accidents and injuries. The question that arises is: how long will the authorities remain indifferent to the plight of the people? Bengaluru deserves better, and it’s high time that proper accountability and immediate action are enforced to restore the city’s infrastructure to its deserved standard. Joint CP, Traffic, Bengaluru S.
