Silver lining in this #winter storm, it's occurring on a weekend. Would have been MUCH more impactful for travel if it was a weekday. Here's Buffalo, NY. Heavy snow but not much traffic on roads. For those without power however the day of the week doesn't matter. Stay safe,

Weekend Storm Update Despite what you might have heard… I am STILL tracking the potential for a significant snow event this weekend. If it happens, the snow would arrive Sunday afternoon/evening. Model Guidance has been all over the place but I’ve been fairly consistent with my message: This looks like a Miller B Nor’Easter. Miller B storms typically have a mix line that sets up along I-78/I-80 in eastern PA and NJ. The European Model suggests that mix changes over to heavy snow as this storm strengthens. Whether or not that actually happens is pure speculation at this point. There are some non-linear processes that need to go exactly correct for this storm to produce significant snow. If not, the storm could miss off to the south. So nothing is set in stone yet, but the threat remains. ~Meteorologist Mark Margavage #wxtwitter #wxX #PAwx

So much confusion on this issue .. so much opportunity but not the requirement that some believe it is .There are countless businesses built every day that become monster businesses that do not have the founder or CEO out in front? Changed it over to the high-resolution (3km) GRAF simulations for the remainder of the night here. Here is how much more snow the model os showing for the remainder of the night (through 6am Monday). Based on ground reports certainly seems like those outside the banding are coming in on the lower end. So far 0.56" of liquid reported at DCA today, that would have been 5.6" of snow under ideal conditions today had this been all snow!

Normally, I stick to US Weather, but this will be a very impactful Storm for our European Brotheren so I thought it was worth covering. Heads up my European Brotheren

We all are aware that a severe winter storm is coming our way this weekend. Sunday is supposed to be the worst day. Do you find it necessary to panic buy at the grocery store like this person is, or just buy a little more than normal in case roads are bad for more than a day.

70 in a 55? ✅ Roll a stop sign? ❌ FSD 14.1.2 Mad Max seems to be for heavy, aggressive traffic so you can fit in better. On open roads, it's going to speed like crazy, so it doesn't make sense to use there. And it's optional, so if you don't like it of course you never have to turn it on. Part of me gets it, but part of me wonders why Tesla would even bring this possible scrutiny on FSD when they already got a slap for rolling a stop sign, which like 99% of drivers do, and I feel is safer to do in many situations anyway.
