Aware of it and pains me to see it being facilitated by our governments. Burning of churches is in the playbook of islam so we know why that is happening, but I don’t understand why the ‘elites’ pander to Islam while our churches burn.

While the double standard you pointed out is true, Christianity isn't our true heritage. Its a foreign religion, that took over our culture and absorbed our festivals and our practices, and then claimed them to be its own.

Both pagan and Christian traditions are part of our history. But the churches that have stood for centuries are still English heritage, built by English hands, in English soil, by the people who made this country. The double standard remains the same either way. Mosques get the Prime Minister and millions in funding over a scorched door. English churches burn every 10 days and the establishment stays silent. Yet to hear of a prime minister and home secretary visiting a church or a vicarage after a fire. The irony of the PM and HS sitting inside the very mosque that was supposed to have been burned obviously bypassed them.

What they did was secure their votes. That's it, sod the rest of us. How can our PM blatantly ignore Churches being burned down yet pour millions of taxpayers money to protect Mosques? All Churches, Temples etc should be protected, not just any particular one.

And the CoE hierarchy remain utterly silent when Churches are hit by arson. What is the point of them?

for long time it has been the policy of the media not to report arson so as not to encourage copycat crimes. schools have been a regular target for long time, not i would suggest cos muslims have always been flying around setting fire to them. maybe kids hate school and churches.

Even Iran did not have Islam originally. The Quran delivered many evils to the citizens because it was once a peaceful society prior to that.
