Things to note after landing at NMIA. 1. There is no mobile network currently. But there's access to free WiFi. You can use it to book cabs. And keep Wi-Fi calling option on. Else the cabbie won't be able to call you 2. After exit, you need to go one level down to access public transport options. Chalo buses to Colaba and other places were available right from Day 1. 3. The airport is still pretty much under construction. There's lots of work still pending. I even saw some leaks being plugged. These are teething troubles and should get fixed soon.

So, lots of things that are miserable and kind of get you down. But life cannot just be about solving one miserable problem after another. That can’t be the only thing. There need to be things that inspire you. That make you glad to wake up in the morning and be part of humanity. Earth is the cradle of humanity, but you cannot stay in the cradle forever. So why would you go ahead and assist them in this by back peddling and lead protecting, opening up two windows that weren’t there before? 1 – Stall points 2 – Allowing your opponent to solely focus on their offense as they no longer have to respect your attacks. You hear wrestlers in post-match interviews “We do this all the time in the room! Down 2 with 30 seconds left and working to find a takedown.” Not so much the opposite… “up 2 with 30 seconds left and just have to find ways to back up to protect the lead!” So why resort to something you don’t practice in the most crucial moments of a match—or your season? 9 hours of a national power outage in Portugal and It felt like lockdown all over again. But here are 5 things I wouldn’t have expected.👇 1/ telephone networks went down very quickly too, so there were no comms 2/ no working ATMs, so no cash 3/ major supermarkets were cash only / closed - those that stayed open killed it 4/ trains down + no phones / apps left people resorting to hitch hiking to get home 5/ only a handful of petrol stations were working so not just EVs would grind to a halt pretty quickly People began stock piling water. Cars were initially gridlocked and the police were on the streets. There was a nervous energy in the air. But there was also a kind of excitement and then a calm. People were playing on quiet streets with their kids and gathering with friends. We had a bbq and found ourselves thinking of a cards against humanity card. Is this is how it ends? Not with a bang but with a… bbq?! Good to have the lights back on! 💡⚡️
