This means the next generation of Indian generals will be ideologically trained in Hindutva first and military professionalism later. This deep infiltration has transformed the Indian armed forces into an extension of the RSS agenda rather than a neutral institution of the state. It is the militarisation of extremism. The RSS carries a blood-soaked legacy. It has been responsible for countless pogroms and massacres of Muslims in India. History records it as the organization that carried out the earliest terrorist attacks in the subcontinent including an assassination attempt on Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. India today is not led by professional soldiers or neutral politicians. It is hostage to an extremist group that openly embraces fascism, militancy and terrorism under the garb of nationalism.

Our ideology did not emerge yesterday. Our ideology, like the RSS' ideology, is thousands of years old. It has been fighting the RSS ideology for thousands of years. We have our symbols. We have Shiva; we have Buddha; we have Guru Nanak; we have Kabir; and we have Mahatma Gandhi. These are all the symbols that have shown the correct path to this country. Please name one symbol of the RSS ideology that is revered in India today. Was Guru Nanak from the RSS ideology? Was Buddha from the RSS ideology? Was Krishna Bhagwan from the RSS ideology? Not a single one. Because every single one of these people fought for equality and brotherhood. The last thing I would like to say is that this building has emerged from the blood of our workers, from every single one of our leaders. That includes all of you, who are today defending the idea of the Congress party. Everybody in this room is under severe assault defending the ideas of the Congress party. Sometimes we forget it. But these people in this room are facing systematic attack and assault on their lives because they are in the Congress party, and they are not surrendering to the BJP and the RSS. Very very important This is extremely shocking and the people of India deserve to know this. Last evening, Hon'ble Vice President of India and Rajya Sabha Chairman Sh Jagdeep Dhankar said in the House that "since the last 25 years, I have been an 'Eklavya' of the RSS". He then went on to shower praise on the RSS and said that his only "regret" was that he didn't join the RSS earlier. It was an open admission by the Hon'ble VP & Chair that he's a proud member of the RSS. Hon'ble VP & Chairman has the right to be a member of any organization that he pleases. However, 2 days ago, he expunged & removed parts of the speech of Leader of Opposition Kharge ji where he'd criticized the RSS. It is well-documented fact that the RSS is an organization that has been banned in the past for subversive activities. It is a communal organization and also, for the longest time, refused to accept the Constitution of India. Is it fair for the VP of India to be openly praising the RSS while sitting in a chair where he's expected to be neutral? It is extremely concerning and DANGEROUS that criticism of the RSS even by MPs is now being banned under the Modi Govt because the Chairman is a proud member of the RSS which he has openly admitted.
