"Since October 7th, we were never asked to expel Hamas officially. We were never told to stop mediating. On the contrary—when we asked the Hamas leadership to leave Qatar...we were asked by the Biden administration at that time to bring Hamas back in order to continue mediation"

Israel bombing of Qatar proves US Military has turned into Israeli's strong arm and at its full command, signaling there are no US commitments to any of its allies. Except #AIPAC

Qata works with the US and for the US. Qatar doesn't work against the US. Despite anyone liking it or not, the US intentionally violated the terms of the US-Qatar relationship in such a public way to affect everyone in the Middle East and the world.

As a sovereign nation, Qatar has the authority to decide whom it hosts within its borders without needing to justify its decisions to other countries. Sovereignty implies that a state has the supreme power to govern itself and make decisions independently, including matters of foreign policy and diplomatic relations. The principle of sovereignty is a cornerstone of international law, as outlined in the United Nations Charter and various treaties. It means that each state has the right to conduct its affairs without external interference, as long as it respects the sovereignty of other states and adheres to international law.

Mediate with terrorists while the world watches them murder civilians? That’s not diplomacy, that’s enabling evil.

@jasmineelgamal Qataris have every right to be outraged at Netanyahu and Trump having their sovereignty violated so blatantly by Israel while hosting “peace” negotiations at the behest of the Administration that lack commitment from either of the warring parties.

You forget the Hegelian dialect to this equation. Qatar enabled Hamas by funding and continues to do so, therefore enabling them as an essential interlocutor. Of course the US asked to keep them. I know you don't like Israel but if a state enables a deadly implacable enemy all bets are off. That stated I didn't approve of this move. Both O'Biden and Brussels did and do not work in Israel's interests.

It looks like that despite all the noise Qatar is making, it will yield to Israeli/US pressure and Hamas leadership would be forced out of Qatar.

The whole point for these people to be in Qatar was organized by the US government so that a dialogue could occur. Bombing them like this makes any further negotiation impossible.

The question is what gives Israel the flagrant audacity to dictate what happens within the sovereign territories of another country? The same guys have besieged Palestine by land, air, and sea. So much so that even Qatar cannot get access to Palestine without Israel’s permission.

Israel (not USA) was the victim of Hamas' terror Qatar gave Safe Haven and failed to arrest and extradite them to Israel - in clear breach of UN Resolution 1373 It doesn't matter what some other country's leader (Biden) not attacked by the terrorists 'said'

DISCRIMINATION AGAINST US AS IRISH CHRISTIANS AT CROKE PARK MUSLIM EVENT? Umar Al Qadri insists we weren't asked to leave the Croke Park Islamic Eid event BECAUSE we weren't Muslim. He was responding to our assertion that the event was not as open and welcoming to all as he was making out. We doubled down and insisted we were discriminated against. We also informed him (after accusations of being seen as a hostile presence) that we were highly respectful at all times, despite harassment. What do you think? Were we asked to leave due to not being adherent to Islam? Moreover, were we at any time anything other than calm, polite and very respectful? Or did we allow ourselves to be goaded into a confrontation in which we would be likely made out to be "far right" aggressors? And would there have been uproar if we as white Irish Christians had told Muslims to leave an event they attended legitimately? This incident is not the only time we were asked we approached, surrounded and followed several times (in other instances a number of Irish staff and security were involved and were "following orders"). We were repeatedly hassled, questioned and told to leave. We had to show our tickets (which we bought online) 6 times. Gardaí were also called. At no point did we allow ourselves to be antagonised, and at no point were we aggressive. We were the opposite...however we have a feeling we will still be made out to have acted incorrectly. More footage to follow. Produced with Susanne Delaney
