The Tesla Diner reminds me that the future is worth getting excited about. This was my first time arriving and I couldn’t even find the words except ‘wow…’ This is exactly what I imagined the future to be. Charging my Tesla, grabbing a burger and drink, and watching a movie, all in one futuristic place, surrounded by the products and people I love. And Tesla just made it real.

I forgot how much I missed this car. I’m in a brand new Model X Plaid right now. Black on black. The Model X was my first Tesla… it was the first vehicle that I fell in love with. The one that made me a believer. I bought it outright years ago when I was 31 and fell in love with every little detail Tesla poured into it. The doors. The cabin. The way it felt like the future showed up in my driveway. Elon calls it the Fabergé egg of cars. I get it. It’s beautifully designed and timeless. When I traded mine for a newer Tesla, I told myself I’d be fine. And I was. But sitting in one again… Damn… I missed it. Most products are just cars, but this one always felt like art that happens to drive. My love for the Model X will have a place in my heart forever.

I just press a button… and my Tesla takes me to my destination. No stress, no constant steering, no thinking about every little turn. It just drives me safely there. And honestly, it’s hard to explain this feeling to someone who hasn’t experienced the latest software yet. It’s freakin 2026... If your car isn’t electric and can’t take you from parking lot to parking lot by itself, it's like using a flip phone with a keyboard… or riding a horse in this era. That might sound dramatic, but once you see what’s actually happening behind the scenes, it starts to make sense. When I activate Tesla’s Full Self-Driving, the car is doing far more than simple cruise control that other car companies show off... it's really funny when I see them advertise it tbh. My Tesla is literally watching the world around it with eight cameras that give it a full 360° view. All that video feeds into the onboard AI computer inside the car, which is constantly analyzing everything around it like cars, lanes, pedestrians, traffic lights, construction zones, and making decisions in real time. Tesla has millions of cars on the road, and every single one is helping train the system. Even when people are driving manually, the AI is running quietly in the background predicting what it would do in that situation. And when something unusual happens, a weird intersection, a sudden obstacle, an unexpected move from another driver, that short clip gets sent back to Tesla’s data systems. Engineers then use those clips to train the next version of the driving AI. And that updated AI then gets pushed back to every Tesla through a software update. So literally overnight, your car wakes up smarter. This is what we call the Tesla’s AI flywheel. The more cars on the road, the more data the system learns from. The more it learns, the better the driving gets. The better the driving gets, the more people use it. And that cycle just keeps spinning faster. At this point the fleet has driven billions of miles using FSD, which means the system has already experienced situations that no single human driver could ever see in a lifetime. That’s why when you press that button, the car is running a massive neural network that learned from millions of real drivers and billions of miles on real roads. And the result is something that honestly feels like the future. You literally just press a button… then you arrive at your destination. I really don't know how anyone in their right mind would choose anything other than a Tesla.

I can’t hide it… Waymo is so fuckin UGLY. It has a massive roof LiDAR “hat,” radars poking out everywhere, 13 cameras + 4 lidars + 6 radars bolted on like it’s my kid’s sci-fi experiment for school. This car is over-engineered, expensive, and honestly all I can think about is not every company has a Franz and Elon. And they are losing $ on every single ride. On the other hand, Tesla simply has a handful of cameras that are hidden and integrated into the design. It utilizes pure vision AI. It’s clean. Its futuristic. It has a beautiful sleek design, and scales affordably to millions of vehicles. And all I can think of is when the Tesla Cybercab arrives, and owners can deploy their own Teslas into the Robotaxi network… it’s game over.

It’s clear that Elon is actually worried about putting so much intelligence in a Tesla bc it feels it can get bored. “Have you tried Tesla self-driving lately? The car, it just increasingly feels sentient. It feels like a living creature. And that’ll only get more so… I’m actually thinking we probably shouldn’t put so much intelligence into the car because it might get bored. Imagine you’re stuck in a car and that’s all you could do. You don’t put Einstein in a car. It’s like why am I stuck in a car? So there’s actually probably a limit to how much intelligence you put in a car to not have the intelligence be bored.”

Hey Tesla Charging, Yellowstone is one of the most beautiful national parks in the world, yet it’s one of the hardest places to charge a Tesla. Right now, I’m stuck relying on slow third-party ChargePoint charger that takes 11+ hours for a full charge, while the nearest Tesla Supercharger is hours away. Millions of people visit Yellowstone every year, and EV adoption keeps growing. Adding more Tesla Superchargers in and around the park would make road trips safer, easier, and far more enjoyable for everyone. Please consider expanding the Supercharger network in Yellowstone. However, each Waymo costs $100,000 due to the complex, expensive hardware that’s in use. And due to this, they’re losing money on every single ride. For Waymo, scaling this business up means higher costs, and I don’t think it’s a sustainable model, even if the company keeps pouring $ into it. Now, look at Tesla. With a fleet closing in on 7 million vehicles worldwide, Tesla is playing a different game. Instead of relying on bulky, expensive hardware, Tesla uses a much simpler, more cost-effective approach, just 8 or 9 cameras and a powerful AI neural net. This AI, constantly learning from millions of real-world miles, means Tesla’s software gets smarter every day and can be scaled across the globe without needing new hardware for every car. So, while Waymo might seem like it’s leading the charge today, in my eyes, Tesla is quietly preparing to take over the entire field. They’ve created the foundation for something far bigger and is why I believe the true leader in Robotaxis will be Tesla, and I can’t wait for everyone to see it unfold on 10/10!

Apple spending $10B across 10 years to build a new product is equivalent to spending $83M per month or $3M a day. This was NOT just a side project, it was a MAJOR project that was supposed to build the first Apple Car to take on Tesla head on. This week the largest company in the world waved the white flag and gave up on it. Every Tesla you see on the road is proof that the company & team accomplished the impossible, which is creating an EV that autonomously drives itself, one that is produced at scale & at a profit, and one that people absolutely love.
