My advice is to treat 2025 Rome like Rome in any other year: Be sure to book your room well in advance, go online ahead of time to reserve timed entries to sights that are always crowded, and be mindful that secondary sights — such as the Baths of Caracalla, an impressive alternative to going inside the packed Colosseum — will be more inviting than ever.
