This is the BBC headline of Amnesty International report saying Israel is committing genocide. The CBC doesn’t even have it anywhere on their news page. In 2021 & 2022 when Human Rights Watch & Amnesty International put out reports saying Israel is an apartheid state, CBC didn’t cover that either.

I join my sisters in Afghanistan by sharing a video of myself singing one of their well-known and poignant songs. It is frightening that the Taliban’s new law bans women from speaking in public. In response, Afghan women have started a new wave of singing in public. Second clip in this video is Zara Esmaili, a young singer in Iran, was detained more than a month ago for singing in public. The Taliban’s actions mirror those of their master, the Islamic Republic of Iran, in their relentless suppression of women’s rights. Sing with us, shout with us, and fight with us against gender apartheid in the 21st century.

🚨Iran News Alert | Luxembourg Parliament Votes Unanimously on IRGC The Luxembourg Parliament has unanimously adopted a resolution—with the votes of all 60 MPs—calling for the terrorist designation of the IRGC. 🗓️ Tuesday, January 20, 2026 📍 Adopted during a parliamentary session attended by Xavier Bettel, Luxembourg’s foreign minister. Key points of the resolution: Urges the European Union to actively move forward with designating the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization.
