They hide behind civilians. On October 7, 2023 they broke a ceasefire, murdered 1,200 people, and kidnapped hundreds. Recent polls show over 70% of Gazans still support Hamas. Hostages were told by their captors: “Take our guns and we’ll kill you with stones, with our hands.” When will people finally admit this is driven by Islamist extremism — not “grievances”?

Yarden Bibas, whose wife Shiri and young sons Ariel and Kfir died while being held captive by Hamas, delivered an emotional eulogy during their funeral Wednesday. Bibas, who was wearing an orange yarmulke as a reference to the boys' red hair, was freed earlier this month after being abducted by Hamas terrorists on Oct. 7 alongside his wife and sons, who were 4 and 9 months at the time. Hamas handed over the remains of Shiri and the two children last week as part of a ceasefire deal with Israel.
