The suspect, who was recently released from Prison, on 18/08/2025 fired and wounded a businessman Gbenga Obama and robbed him of an expensive gold necklace and other valuables in broad daylight at Gbajobi Street, Allen Avenue, Ikeja. John Samuel, an ex-convict, is vicious and notorious for armed robbery, assassination, and murder of some of his victims. He was released recently after serving a six-year jail term for capital offence of armed robbery. After his release from prison, he returned to crime and criminality with even more viciousness. He is notorious for shooting at victims before dispossessing them of their valuables. CCTV footage of the 18/08/2025 incident obtained, clearly captured the suspect when he fired at the victim with English pistol,before dispossessing him of his gold necklace jewelry while his accomplice waited on a motorcycle for their escape. The victim, who sustained serious gunshot wounds during the attack,has since been treated and discharged. The suspect, Samuel John confessed to selling the stolen jewelry for ₦4 million, far below its actual value. The Lagos State Police Command is currently intensifying efforts to arrest other members of his gang and bring them to justice. They will all be prosecuted on completion of investigation. Our hope is that the video will help us track them down.” “We are asking anyone who witnessed the robbery or has information that could assist investigators to come forward. We want to identify those responsible and hold them accountable.” The incident occurred around 9:15 a.m., when the victim was assaulted and robbed by a group of suspects. One suspect repeatedly pushed the victim to the ground before punching him multiple times in the face and stealing his personal belongings. The victim followed the suspects in an attempt to recover his property. During the confrontation, he was slammed into a wall twice before the suspects fled the area. Several witnesses and bystanders called police. The victim was transported to hospital with a head injury, bruises and abrasions. He has since been released from the hospital. Well am not surprised, before I travelled with Gyan to US , armed police’s men stormed my house with one guy who is claiming that small part of my land i have built on since 2014 which my family is residing in at east airport belongs to him so one officer called Malaika of Ghana Police Service Suveillance Unit has deployed his men who pointed GUNS at me in front of my HOUSE after I parked my car , asked me “ what am I doing in front of my house “ ?? The case is reported at Regional Police Commander BUT MALAIKA & his MEN are still PROTECTING the “ SO CALLED “ New owner and his land guard to develop on my land as we speak in my absence !! I don’t know what the Ghana Police Service became Land Guards for land grabbers !! I HAVE SINCE REPORTED IT TO CID COMMISSIONER and Malaika Boss DCOP Teye . Am told my opponent is still developing the land in my absence as the police is yet to come out with the final investigation to advise the two parties . New surveillance video shows a man with a machete threatening a driver during a carjacking in Manhattan last week. Police said the 27-year-old driver was sitting in his parked Honda on West 11th Street in Greenwich Village when three male suspects forced him out of his car and stole it. One of the suspects was seen on video displaying a machete as he approached the vehicle, police said. The driver was not injured. Police are still searching for the suspects. This comes after a social media post, where he makes a number of allegations about the SAPS in the province following a raid at his premises. A statement from the provincial commissioner’s office says: “What Mr Mathibeli does not know is that the operation at his business premises was a Head Office operation and police in KwaZulu-Natal had nothing to do with it. Mr Mathibeli seems to have an obsession with police in KwaZulu-Natal and particularly, the Provincial Commissioner. Police in KwaZulu-Natal will now seek legal recourse against Mr Mathibeli for his image-tainting utterances. Mr Mathibeli even quoted what Lieutenant General Mkhwanazi said in his evidence at the Madlanga Commission that he was minding his business in KwaZulu-Natal when he learnt of the disbandment of the PKTT and started paying attention. Now that Mr Mathibeli has introduced himself to the police in KwaZulu-Natal, his utterances were simply an invitation to police in KwaZulu-Natal to start looking into his business dealings, and police have learnt that he is a beneficiary of a tender with the Department of Health in Gauteng. TWO TIER POLICING IN ONE MORNING. Outside a peace conference at the JW3 community centre in North London. The video on the left (now with blurred out face) is of a Jewish man walking his dog who, enraged at the awful chants coming from the pro Hamas lot, gave them the finger. As you can see, he was pushed away by police and warned that if he didn’t leave he’d face arrest. The video on the right shows someone in the pro Hamas group, giving a Jewish person the finger in front of a police officer who did nothing. The two tier element couldn’t be starker. For more than year British Jews have had to put up with this light policing of groups of people who are not shy about expressing their support of the aims of Hamas. This is emboldening and radicalising people. It puts us all in danger. Being antisemitic and hateful towards British Jews will do nothing to help the people of Gaza.

The incident happened on Sunday morning around 10am at Emma*** Supermarket in Aboru. Customers were queuing to make payments when a dr¥nk Aye cultist began harassing people, insisting he must go ahead of everyone. I be NBM Black Ax£.” Immediately the police officer heard this, he went to his car, brought out handcuffs and a pist0l, and told the NBM cultist to start calling his members because he would deal with him. The Aye became scared and “drink clear for him eyes immediately.” He refused to come out of the supermarket and also resisted arrest. Eventually, the officer called on some street boys nearby, who dragged the Aye out, gave him light beating, before handing him over for proper police action. Strong man don sit down for ground. After a video of the incident went viral, police issued a statement confirming they were aware of the attack. VIDEO: Residents rescue man gagged by wife, sons over pension dispute Residents of Oko-Filling, a serene neighborhood in Araromi, Ijoko, Sango Ota, came to the rescue of a man who had been bound, gagged and left for death by his wife and children following a dispute over his retirement benefits. The incident took place in the early hours of Thursday, March 13, at the family’s residence. The conflict began when the man reportedly refused to hand over the entirety of his retirement payout to his wife and four sons. After receiving the money, he used a portion to open two shops for his wife in Abule after giving her N3 million. He also bought a N12 million car for himself while the family already owned a home in the area. However, his wife and sons, who are all university graduates, expressed dissatisfaction with the distribution of the funds and attempted to pressure him for more. The situation took a darker turn when the man sold the newly purchased vehicle shortly after acquiring it, raising suspicions among neighbors. A local landlord, who spoke to The Nation, revealed that the man was later discovered in his home with his mouth, hands, and feet bound. "He was tied like an animal to be slaughtered. They (his wife and kids) got some Aboki men, about six of them to tie him up. It was the strange noise from their parking that alerted residents who gathered in front of the house to know what was happening. "Landlords in the area who could not endure the noise at that hour, decided to go out and find out what was wrong. When they got to his compound, they saw a Korope (small bus) outside packing properties. "His wife and sons were the ones packing and so, the residents asked after the man. When the response given was not satisfactory, they forced themselves inside the house and saw the man completely bound with the Aboki people still inside the house, as though they were waiting to kill him. "The man was untied and rushed to the hospital. He's still at the hospital receiving treatment. The suspects were all taken to the police station. One of the Aboki men confessed it was the man's wife that contracted them to tie him up. They were all taken to the police station that morning," said the landlord. NEW: Paraglider strikes a power line and falls into the Red River in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Witnesses Dusty Howlett and Nate Millard were at the Riverside Dam when the incident unfolded. "I was caught off guard because I didn’t see the power lines there either. So immediately, I stopped filming, and then I called 911," Howlett said. 𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒕 𝑹𝑨𝑰𝑵𝑺 𝒊𝒕 𝑷𝑶𝑼𝑹𝑺⛑️ 𝐺𝑢𝑎𝑟𝑑𝑖𝑎𝑛 𝐴𝑛𝑔𝑒𝑙~𝑃𝑎𝑟𝑡 2 😇🙏 After a botched summer assignment to a new collegiate league in Texarkana, TX that saw Grant Scholzen sleeping in his car and no host family provided as promised, Grant came home and waited patiently for a summer league call. The MGF Marshalls (who by the way is one of the best run orgs in the country, more on that in a future post!) called and in his 1st game and 2nd AB with a 1-2 count in a left on left matchup with the shadows in play, Grant took a 92 mph FB off the shoulder and into the right side of his face. The only time in 5 years w/o a face shield on his helmet, it’s the only time he’s been hit above the shoulder. Was watching the game on live stream, and it was hard to tell where it actually hit him? Grant immediately started walking to the dugout and I couldn’t figure out why he was doing that, because he should be either staying at home plate gathering his bearings or going to 1B. What you don’t see is the catcher and pitcher who are close friends of Grant’s growing up facing each other in HS and teammates throughout their CBA summer/fall travel ball experiences, looking on with what just happened? The pitcher and catcher who I’m close with as well, are in shock and the pitcher then walks into the opposing dugout to see if Grant is okay? Grant was okay, but he wasn’t okay?! That helpless feeling again when you’re not there and your son has something almost tragic happen?! I was calling friends who I knew were at the game and they said he had ice on his cheek in the dugout. After the game Grant was going to drive 4 hours home and get home at 3am to attend his cousin’s church service to listen to him speak at his 2 year church missionary farewell. He got home late as I said and woke up yesterday with his face extremely swollen and his eye already black, so we saw his uncle at church, who is a pediatric dentist and he scheduled a CT Scan with an oral surgeon buddy. Grant went in this morning for the scan and to our surprise, NO broken bones. Thank you to the countless people who text and reached out with worry and wanting updates. The baseball circle is small, but big at the same time and is a comforter! Once again his mother Heidi was working overtime to protect her kids, just like my daughter’s car accident 3 weeks ago. When it rains it pours! #SwarmingBees 🐝
