Since Western brains only process expansionist ideology through World War II lingo, here it is in those terms: Dar al-Islam is Islamic Lebensraum. The West is the territory they’ve already marked for takeover. Classical Islamic doctrine splits the planet into land under Muslim rule (Dar al-Islam) and land still... outside it (Dar al-Harb). The Abode of Islam and the Abode of War, and the second category exists to be brought under the first. Classical jihad literature treated the extension of Islamic rule as a collective duty just like the Nazi ideology treated eastward conquest as a biological and historical imperative for the German Volk. Migration, parallel societies, higher fertility, political demands for Sharia accommodations, and the steady refusal to assimilate are the practical methods of expanding the abode of Islam into Europe and America the same way the Nazis treated Eastern Europe as empty living space waiting for German settlement. The Ummah requires living space, the political status quo is rejected since the territories outside the preferred order lack full legitimacy, the existing populations and legal systems are obstacles, and the final objective is demographic and political dominance until the old order is replaced. That is the explicit historical logic, and it is still the logic driving the most committed extremist Islamist movements operating inside the West right now.
