it blows me away that SF6 didn't bring this back as a thing you could do with people online They coulda made actual boss fights with hyper scaled enemies that are actually extremely unfair to fight and reward both players for beating them

Couldn't agree more! Let's hope they actually explore something like this in a future update. Season 3 or 4 maybe?
