But single issue bills never get passed bc they always can be pointed to by your opponents whereas omnibus bill you can say you voted for the bill bc the good outweighed the bad without being forced to put your name or vote on a contentious bill. Getting ready elected is the main thing they care about after all. No guts.

The best way to reduce support for the authoritarian right is to stand with people against profiteers in water and energy, and give real security: fair bills, council homes and services that work.
