“Sinners” has an explicit theme about white people being the ultimate evil. When I watched it at the theater last night, there was a big young crowd, and everybody seemed interested. This is what they are feeding young people. They are programming us to hate white people.

Sorry to break the news, but Black children have been raised to hate whites for generations. I know first-hand. I was forced bused to an all Black school in the early 70s. It's just more socially acceptable now to hate whites, thanks to the party of division and racism.

Like the plot to a dystopian movie, New York will now monitor social media writings, collect data, and use law enforcement to crack down on any expression it deems to be hate speech.

The funny thing, isn’t it Europeans who are financing these movies. I don’t think there is a black film company big enough to push that agenda in large movie theaters. I’m sure it’s a white person who has the final say if a movie is going to be made and put into theaters

I was raised to believe that judging ppl by their skin color instead of the content of their character is racist. I was raised to believe that racists are despicable people. I raised my kids to believe those things too.... I may have done them a terrible disservice.

I mean, you seem programmed to hate black people so maybe they’re just trying to deprogram you & that’s why you hated the movie so much? Or (more likely), you just make money from grifting and farming engagement with controversial posts and you’re more of a vulture than anything.

What a lazy take. Did you watch the trailer or the movie? The main vampire was a great antagonist. The message of acceptance and family were emphasized by the villain. I didn't come away hating white people after watching the film. Amazing for a movie set in Mississippi, 1932.

It’s a movie ; if you can’t tell the difference between entertainment&reality that’s on you. If you let a movie influence the way you live as if were a role model then you need some serious guidance in life

My biggest issue is that many black people would rather interpret a movie than read a book. This pretty much ensures your intellectual framework for discussing the black condition will be limited in some ways. Movies just aren’t going to put you in touch with the most careful thinking on a subject, always fuzzy and subjective. We’ve been interpreting pro-black movies for a very long time, but we need to be focused on writings of authors like Thomas Sowell or John McWhorter Movies are no substitute for sharp thinking.

Jason I really appreciate your insight, it is refreshingly colorblind, and I think a lot of us see the world the same way. Personally, I am just uncomfortable when I feel I'm being mentally manipulated or coerced in ANY direction, and instinctively I shut it down.

I honestly could care less about anything that comes out of Hollywood. It's full of degenerates that cannot make a good movie if they truly tried.

Thank you for catching Jason. Once upon a time I would dismiss this... and simply think it was random. but last 40 years of 60 I see the body politics and see too much OLD WORLD and not enough America in media. face to face we seem fine but underneath our kids are off vector.

I thought Americans were too sensitive? You’re upset about the story in a movie?? Eat some popcorn and enjoy the show, or choose not to watch it

The deceit behind the war on 'white' people is the war on Christianity. The most intelligent black people know how this works. Cui bono? Most successful black Americans are likewise Christians. Don't ever think this isn't a war on them too.

How do we deprogram the hate machine? I believe that racism is a learned behavior. Therefore if we stop teaching it, it will stop being a problem. Is that naive of me? Too optimistic?

It’s concerning when films push divisive narratives instead of bringing us together. We should focus on unity, not fueling hate or resentment.

I agree. While I have zero problems w a white person the evil antagonist in a movie, this felt a little different. Even the loan white person in the movie that was accepted by them had to make it known she didn’t want to be born white.
