Murray knows exactly why we were so heavily targeted by HMRC - and it wasn't because the investigators drank in The Brazen Head. They targeted the club because he told them the side letters didn't exist when they asked in 2004. They were found by City of London police 3 years later. He carried on using them at the club knowing HMRC knew he'd misled them.

The final agreed amount minus the fines that were over ruled was £48m and there was no chance of Murray or any of the board raising that amount even though Murray made £6m from the payed in loans nonsense

The final amount was only £33m odd because the final decision was made after the club went into liquidation. HMRC didn't even turn up to fight for a higher amount, they knew they wouldn't get a penny either way.
