Not sure if it’s a hot take or not but Carra and Henry is far better than Carra and Neville when it comes to analysis

@mattfuller5 This is incredible. Would love to see Henry’s analysis more on Sky.

@Ankaman616 Anybody who watches Henry on CBS Champions League coverage knows he’s become so elite at breaking down tape of forwards. Couple seasons ago the way he’d break down Benzema’s movement was so incredible to watch

Henry basically analyses a close up angle of Amad’s goal and you can see in Amad’s eyes he’s never looking at the ball as it’s dropping, he’s focussing on the space it’s dropping rather than ball watching—hence how he gets there first. I don’t even know how he’s spotted that.

When you know how to do something it’s easy to spot when other people do it. Kind of like when you learn a magic trick

I fucking love that man. Growing up watching him just makes you love the game. Spoilt beyond belief to be able to watch him and Bergkamp in person as a kid.

Amad just got that next level footballing brain. Unreal bit of instinct there

Watch the back spin Martinez puts on the ball too. It means Amad’s touch is controllable and doesn’t spin off his foot wide. Scholesy-esque #chefskiss
