Sitting' Here At Midnight.....

That whole series feels like family to me. It’s hard to explain, but there’s a sense of camaraderie and love between the characters that feels real. That’s one reason among many why I love the PHANTASM movies so much. I was fortunate to have several interactions with Reggie over the years. He was such a nice guy and struck me as genuinely appreciative of his fans. My condolences to his friends and family.

Always brings a smile to my face. I am so sorry for your loss, Don. Sending you lots of love. ❤️

Phantasm is a horror masterpiece! #TallMan #Boy

I like how he has a guitar holder on the side of the ice cream truck!

RIP Reg!!!

@kinky_horror My favorite and Greatest Horror/Sci Fi movie! I miss Angus I miss Reggie Phantasm 4EVER!!!

Good times. Reggie was the best “good guy” of any horror franchise. I think I have the resume to give this statement gravitas. I’d rather face the bad guys with Reggie at my side than with Buffy, Van Helsing, or Ripley. He has heart. His only real competition is Ash Williams. It’s tragic they never teamed up.

I watched this a few months ago on the big screen - I meant to write about how this scene is a perfect example of what's missing in modern movies—it adds an extra layer to the characters and their humanity etc. Contemporary movies are all about getting from A to B too fast etc.

Condolences, Don. And thanks to you and Reggie for one of the best horror movies I’ve ever seen… and I’ve been watching them since ‘77.

Phantasm (1979) – The Tall Man | Horror Ambience

The real Ice Cream Man. RIP Reggie

People don’t talk about how this is one of the greatest movies ever made enough for my liking

This part is all you need to see to know why this hit different

My car.

@BrianKeene Uh, oh, an ice cream man? I reminds me of that infamous Prongay guy, the one who went after that fat guy in Milwaukee.

Hot as love every time! RIP Reggie.

When I was a kid I was in a hurry to get past this scene... now it's one of my favorite scenes in the film. A great insight into the characters and their relationship.

Poor Reg 🖤😔🍦

Dude, first thing I thought of when I heard the news was this.

I think I'm gonna cry.

Saw Phantasm at the drive in! RIP Legend

Where's the Hemi?

It wasn't till the reunion at Flashback Weekend that I heard the full lyrics of this song at the Phantasm concert

Sorry for the loss of your good friend Reggie! You made his name immortal by making Phantasm! Thanks Don, and RIP Reggie!

He was a better ice cream man than Clint Howard 😃 #RIP Reggie 🙏

My leg.

Long ago, and far away.

You know you were a success at life and being a wonderful human being when people all over the world have nothing but great things to say about the man you were. I never got to meet Reggie but I know he was extremely talented especially with music. A kind and sweet person.

Iconic one of a kind actor

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Rest in peace, friend Reggie 🥹 #Phantasm ice cream man 👻

So sorry Don. ❤️
