I can't stop thinking about this AI sci-fi film called Pomegranate by Gossip Goblin. It's about a future where people can buy and experience entire lifetimes through a machine. Such a great premise, and one that really takes advantage of what AI makes possible. What really stood out are the visuals. Every frame feels like a moving Pinterest board I wanted to bookmark. And if you watch all the way through, the fourth ‘Pomegranate session’ is something special. It's a beautiful reflection on the cycle of life that just left me sitting there thinking.. just wow. Super excited to be the very first rider in our Robotaxi internal trial. Ordered it right outside our office building — hailed, got in, sat down, and off we went. This marks the first time we've fully connected the online booking and offline riding experience. Sitting in that car, I couldn't help but feel a bit emotional. We announced the Robotaxi plan last November, kicked off public-road testing this January, rolled out production vehicles in May, and now, just eight months later, we've run the whole loop and started internal trials. That's faster than we ever expected. Huge thanks to everyone on the Robotaxi team who made this happen. True large-scale deployment of Robotaxis is a long journey. Next, we'll keep doubling down on safety, fine-tune the experience, and improve generalization, steady steps all the way. I'm really looking forward to the day when our internal users, locals in Guangzhou, and travelers visiting the city can all pull out their phones, hail a XPENG Robotaxi, and hop in for a ride. I can't- oh god, if I was in his place I be shaking in my boots because thinking back when we first debuted and he had very little experience with jp and also with singing, performing, and dancing and being on stage. me too honestly, but I wanna say even more so for 🎭 🔗: and seeing where he started from and seeing him up there on the stage performing with so much improvement, so much confidence, so much talent! it made me so proud of him 🔗: like omg it's such a huge opportunity. it's such a lot of pressure to be in that position, like you can't speak the language that well and working with this team. I'm sure all the staff communication would have been pretty complex jp and coordinating with the other members in pure jp, and getting up there on a big stage in front of thousands of people, literally thousands of people and more watching online as well 🔗: insane how much balls that would take and so I'm really proud of him. and he did so well, he sounded amazing. all his songs sounded so good, I'm so proud of his improvement when he's singing, really good singing 🔗: the technique, you could like feel in tangibly. like the improvement, like I didn't know he could do that. like wtf? I've had a number of moments like that whenever I listen to 🎭's performances, like even some that we've done together. like bro, where that come from? but it happened again this time, it was really really good 🔗: his solo was beautiful, fire flower. just pure pure energy that's giving everyone that genki energy that we love him for 🔗: so proud, my lil bro. alburn, alburn non, alburroon~~ he's come so far. but yeah, day 2 was amazing. i liked it a lot --- AND WHAT IF I CRY 😭😭😭 he is so proud of him

Here’s why Mario Zechner(Mario Zechner), found them suboptimal and built Pi, a minimalist self-modifying agent: #1 - Mario initially was a believer in Claude Code: "I was a believer in Claude code because they were the first that packaged agentic search up in a really compelling package. And at the time that fit my workflow really well. Everything around the LLM was kind of nice and tidy and easy to understand. I was super happy. I was proselytising Claude code." #2 - Reverse engineering Claude Code highlighted the degradation that Mario felt as a user: "I personally like simple tools that are stable and that I can rely on. Even if they have non-deterministic parts, all the deterministic parts should be as stable as possible. That was just not the experience with Claude Code around summer 2025. They would take away your control of the context. They would inject stuff behind your back, which is bad. Then, your workflows stopped working because there's now a system reminder that you don't even see in the UI that would modify the behaviour of the model. They would also do this to the system prompt. I built a little service where I can track the progression or evolution of the system, prompt and tool definitions and, with every release, it was messing with stuff. That just messed with my workflows and I don't appreciate that." #3 - PI was built with an appreciation for simple and reliable tools: "If I commit to a development tool, I want it to be a stable, reliable thing like a hammer. INF Kodey Shojinaga (Kansas Baseball) is an intriguing Sophomore-eligible prospect. Was outstanding as a true Freshman and hit .378/.421/.526 with 11 2B, 6 HR, and 32 RBIs. Also slashed .326/.396/.349 across 11 games on the Cape. Shojinaga was named Co-Freshman of the Year in the Big 12 and earned a Team USA invitation. Medium build at 5'10", 190-lbs with some physicality in the lower-half. Slightly open front side in the box with a normal handset. Holds bat horizontally over his back shoulder with the barrel pointed slightly back. Medium-high leg kick, but the stride itself is small. Little bit of a bat wrap, but he's consistently on time. Average bat speed. Hit over power profile right now, but Shojinaga has an advanced feel for the barrel and plus bat-to-ball skills. Last season, he sported a 93% overall IZ contact rate. Approach is sound, but sometimes chases down/away. Does a nice job of using the whole field and working inside the baseball. Would put a 55 on the pure hit tool. Sound defender at 2B with above average arm strength and makes the plays he needs to make. He has quick hands and some range in either direction. Shojinaga also has experience catching, and got some reps behind the plate this summer for Team USA. Will be interesting to see what it would look like if he focused on catching - actions need refining, but the arm strength is there. Shojinaga will need to really hit, and he's capable of doing so. This July, he profiles as a 5th-8th round pick.
