🇬🇪 The Georgian parliament has fast-tracked anti-protest laws . 🔸 prohibition of using pyrotechnics, flashlights, lasers (fine 700 dollars) 🔸 ban on covering the face in any way during public gatherings 🔸 increased fine for blocking roads ($700 instead of $350 and loss of driver's license) 🔸 increased fine for protest writings on walls and drawings ($350 instead of $18) 🔸 increased fine for demonstrations (1800 dollars instead of 180 dollars, or administrative arrest) 🔸 fine for wearing a police uniform ($700 and confiscation of property) ❗️ Georgian President Salomi Zurabishvili was also stripped of her right to state security after she steps down from office on December 16.
