#WATCH | Protests are continuing in Gilgit-Baltistan over the attack on Iran and the killing of the Iranian leader. In Gilgit and Skardu, demonstrators set fire to local offices of the United Nations, including the United Nations Development Programme office in Gilgit. In Skardu, the SP office and several government buildings were also torched. As a result of firing on the protesters, seven demonstrators were killed and more than a dozen others were injured. An emergency has been declared in hospitals, and security has been placed on high alert in Gilgit and Skardu. (01.03)

The state of Pakistan observes "Pakistan Day" every year on 23rd March to mark the adoption of the first constitution of Pakistan. This video is from Shina speaking Astore region of PoGB, where literally NO ONE turned up in a government sponsored rally on "Pakistan Day". The local Shina speaking Shia Muslim community of Astore completely boycotted "Pakistan Day" rally in response of massive anger at recent murder of Shina and Balti speaking Shia Muslim men and boys in Islamabad Imambargah suicide attack as well as Pakistani Army and Pakistani Paramilitary forces shooting in Skardu and Gilgit towns in which over 50 Shia Muslima were killed. Former pak PM Nawaz Sharif lands in occupied Gilgit-Baltistan, crying over poor roads and lack of development as elections approach. Interesting. Why now? And why not ask his own brother, PM Shehbaz Sharif, who is currently in power? They can't fix basic infrastructure in the territories they occupy, yet dream of taking Indian Kashmir and ruining what they already fail to develop.
