I grew up a few miles from Johnson Space Center and have known countless aerospace engineers, scientists, and astronauts. There’s no doubt we landed on the moon. We’re talking about billions of dollars and thousands of people who made space exploration their life’s work.

Google Earth satelites need to turn their cameras toward the moon to take a non-cut zoom-in video of each site. Why wouldn't they just for interest's sake. They can spot the lander, the buggies, the mess and scratching around and even the disturbance of The landing modules were as big as small trucks and they remained behind with those big glittery gold legs. If google can read a number plate from so high up then spotting a truck-sized object should be child's play. Perhaps much like the Pyramids of Egypt, it's more commercially viable to maintain the mystery than to provide answers.
