For those of you who are still defending Skill Based Match-Making, this is the BEST breakdown as to why it’s detrimental to the player base, not just “top” players

“Call of Duty public multiplayer needs to feel casual again.” More than 9,000 Call of Duty players have signed a petition calling on Activision and the game’s development teams to remove skill-based matchmaking from standard, unranked public playlists. Skill-based matchmaking groups players with others of similar ability. Petition starter Tyler Smith, a gamer known online as TDAWG, argues that the system can make matches feel overly competitive, even when players just want to try a new weapon, unwind after work or play with friends at different skill levels. The petition asks Call of Duty to prioritize connection quality in public matches, keep skill-based competition in Ranked Play and provide more transparency about how its matchmaking works. Should skill-based matchmaking stay in Ranked Play only? Is Fortnite too sweaty this season? What's up with the skill based matchmaking? Does it even exist anymore? Do these insane lobbies make you want to play less or not even play at all?

🚨 Black Ops 7 removed Skill-Based Matchmaking 🚨 I went on a 21 Win Streak with 100+ Kill Games & Teammates. No VPN, No 2Box & No Reverse Boosting These are 3.12 KD Lobbies, if you think Call of Duty has SBMM its just a Skill Issue.

There is no amount of Skill Based Matchmaking that can fix gameplay like this... Getting a Victory Royale in Pubs/ Ranked/ Comp should always be difficult and require some decision making (yes I know I'm vodding pubs zb clips)
