Zimbabwe's Health minister Douglas Mombeshora and Harare mayor Ian Makone today visited Kuwadzana township in the capital as cholera wreaks havoc in high density areas. Kuwadzana has now become the new epicentre of cholera amid new eight confirmed casualties and 30 reported cases. Mombeshora and Makone, together with their ministry and council delegations, toured the area, including Kuwadzana Polyclinic situated near Kuwadzana 4 Resting Park and Mufakose township. Zimbabwe health officials say cholera cases have reached 7000 since an outbreak was reported in February. The first case was reported in Chegutu district, Mashonaland West province, on February 12. Latest figures from the Ministry of Health published on Sunday show cumulative suspected cholera cases over the past nine months are now 6 939, with 49 confirmed deaths and 142 people believed to have succumbed to the disease. Zimbabwe was hit by a wave of a cholera outbreak in 2008, resulting in 98 585 reported cases and more than 4000 deaths. Zimbabwe's perennial dire water shortages and a collapse of the sanitation system has triggered several cholera outbreaks in recent years. In some areas, especially in Harare and Bulawayo, people go for months without running water, while raw sewage is a common sight in townships. The situation reflects Zimbabwe's national collapse under Zanu PF's extended periods of bad governance, incompetence and corruption.

If the obscene viral video of Bhagwant Mann is fake why did the govt dither to get it verified from a forensic lab like the then Governor Punjab had gotten there sex tape of Minister Kattaruchak verified from a forensic lab of Chandigarh? I’m surprised that even the Mohali court ordered the removal of said video from social media sites without its appropriate verification which has only further confused the people. Verification of the said video is vital as it relates to the Chief Minister and even an iota of doubt will only tarnish the image of Punjabi’s and Sikhs worldwide ! Hence we Congress demand its verification to save the honour of Punjab-Khaira Rahul Gandhi Bhupesh Baghel Ravindra Dalvi Punjab Congress

Children born in the diaspora are now returning to Mogadishu & enjoying their time in the city. This trend is largely attributed to the significant improvements in security. Over the past three years, Mogadishu has not experienced any terrorist incidents, and there have only been three major incidents in the last three years. This progress has contributed to making the city a more peaceful and secure place for both residents and visitors.

Forensic pathologists are digging out a pit toilet to search for more remains of a baby whose body was dumped five years ago. Keamogetse Setshego was only six months old when he, his mother and another person went missing in Kabe village, outside Mahikeng. Their bodies were thrown into a pit toilet. Five people have since been arrested in connection with the murders. Newzroom Afrika's Refiloe Fiffy Seboko has more. Watch:
