It is called the camarín of the Virgin of Victory, and it is hidden at the top of a tower inside the Santuario de la Victoria. To reach it, you climb and the ascent is the entire point... The building you are climbing through was completed in 1700, and it was designed as a single argument made in stone. At the bottom lies a crypt: a black chamber crowded with white plaster skeletons, a meditation on death and the brevity of life. From there a staircase rises, and as you climb it the light grows stronger and the imagery changes from bones to saints. The architects of the time understood this ascent as the soul's own journey, the dark crypt as the stage of penitence, the staircase as the stage of spiritual progress, and the room at the very top as the final stage: the union of the soul with the divine. That room at the top is the camarín, and its dome is one of the most extraordinary interiors in Spain... Every surface is covered in white and gold plasterwork. There is no empty space anywhere. The necklace Charlie was wearing had to be sterling silver because the Chevron cross pendant was only available in sterling and the necklace matches the pendent in color spectrum. Sterling has a lower melting point than stainless and a higher conductivity but that second point doesn't really matter because conductivity wise flesh is about 10⁸, (eight orders of magnitude, using the muscle) more resistant than sterling. The SM58 couldnt be the source of electricity. It's shell is tied to pin 1 (shield). So "shocked by an SM58" means shocked by something upstream — a mixer, amp, or power conditioner with a leakage path — delivered through the mic body. The mic is a conductor in the circuit, not the origin. Voltage isn't conducted; current flows through a path. A conductor only carries current if it bridges two points at different potential. A necklace resting on a neck touches skin along its whole length - all of it sits at essentially the same potential as that skin. It bridges nothing, so it carries essentially nothing, regardless of what it's made of.

When you slow plays down to 1/100th the speed, it distorts what actually happened and makes it look like, in this case, Cooks possessed the ball for seconds prior to losing it. The game is not played in slow motion or frame by frame. For a catch: A) Secure control of the ball ✅ B) Two feet down in bounds ✅ C) After (a) and (b) have been fulfilled, clearly performs any act common to the game (e.g., extend the ball forward, take an additional step, tuck the ball away and turn upfield, or avoid or ward off an opponent), or he maintains control of the ball long enough to do so. C is where there is a judgement needed since A and B are clearly met. Now consider this note to the rule: If a player, who satisfied (a) and (b), but has not satisfied (c), contacts the ground and loses control of the ball, it is an incomplete pass if the ball hits the ground before he regains control, or if he regains control out of bounds. This is a textbook example of why the "ball to hand" rule exists. According to IFAB Law 12, a handball is not an offense if the ball is hit on the hand or arm directly from a teammate’s kick or header at close range. Vitinha smashed the ball into Neves from point-blank range and so, it is classified as “unpreventable contact”, the rule is superseded by proximity. Neves has zero reaction time to move his arm when the ball is coming off a teammate’s foot from two yards away. There’s also the fact that it was a defensive clearance and not an opponent's shot or a goal-bound ball, there is no "unfair advantage" gained. So, this wasn’t a pen, IMO

It’s not out of the question for #erin But I see a lot of folks posting “maximum” wave heights - likely for clicks - but the right metric is significant wave heights because the 100 ft waves will be rogue not common. Now, Hurricane Dorian did cause a rogue wave off New Foundland measured at 100ft in 2019, likely the “reliable”record for largest wave, but there have been many “reports” of waves nearly that big or bigger. Erin’s significant wave height (pictured here) is forecast to be 60 ft. That means most waves will be in that range near the core. But typically there are rogue waves much larger, and indeed the models forecast maximum wave heights around 100 ft. Will it happen. Yes, probably when it gets north in its extratropical transition. Will we get a record of it? Not likely. Buoys are sparse along the track. #Hurricaneerin #hurricane

Most of us grew up seeing simplified diagrams of the Hubble Space Telescope and assumed the James Webb Space Telescope follows a similar path around Earth. In reality, it operates in a very different region of space. It is not orbiting our planet in the traditional sense but instead travels around a point about 1.5 million kilometers away known as the Sun–Earth L2 point, keeping pace with Earth as both move around the Sun. On This Day: The fall of the Valkyrie June 9 1966: The 2nd prototype of the North American XB-70 Valkyrie [62-02070] collides with an F-104 Starfighter over California (US). Of the three aboard both planes, only the XB-70´s pilot survives, with his co-pilot and the fighter pilot perishing. Incident occurred during a photoshoot while in close formation. Enquiry stated the F-104´s pilot was in a position where he was unable to safely distance from XB-70 (more details from the ASN Entry below) The XB-70 was a Mach 3 bomber developed in the 50s. Developments in missile technology made the concept obsolete, leading to its cancellation in 1961. At the time of the crash, the two prototypes that had been built were being used for research. The USAF summary report of the accident investigation stated that, given the position of the F-104 relative to the XB-70, the F-104 pilot would not have been able to see the XB-70's wing, except by uncomfortably looking back over his left shoulder. The report said that Walker, piloting the F-104, likely maintained his position by looking at the fuselage of the XB-70, forward of his position. The F-104 was estimated to be 70 ft (21 m) to the side of, and 10 ft (3 m) below, the fuselage of the XB-70. The report concluded that from that position, without appropriate sight cues, Walker was unable to properly perceive his motion relative to the Valkyrie, leading to his aircraft drifting into contact with the XB-70's wing”

Mummy of Pacheri : It is the mummy of a man about 1.65m tall, who lived during Ptolemaic Period (305-30 BC). It called 'Mummy of Pacheri', although the reading of the name remains problematic. The quality of its embalming, as well as the state of conservation make it a specimen noticeable and worthy of notice. The mummy is a perfect example for anyone wanting to understand the technique of embalming, and that is probably why it attracts such fascination from visitors. What adds to the charm of this mummy, is also its location in the museum. Indeed, located in a small niche at the back of the large sarcophagi room. At the top of the so-called Osiris crypt, the mummy is only visible in a certain dim light and remains well hidden, isolated from other artifacts, as if rest was a necessity for it in such a busy museum. According to the results of an X-ray analysis, this mummy is that of an adult man. His name, written hastily, can be read as either Pacheri or Nenu; the interpretation is still uncertain. The wide used collar covering his chest is formed of several rows of beads and includes falcon-headed clasps. The apron covering the body features various scenes arranged in registers, notably the mummy lying on a bed, surrounded by the goddesses Isis and Nephtys, and the four sons of Horus. An Oldie but a Goldie. Approach ➜ Power V One of the biggest keys to a consistent swing is what happens from approach to Power V. As the knob turns toward the pitcher and into the path of the pitch, the barrel naturally falls behind your hands. We don’t need to flick it back to have it fall behind..DUH From there, don’t throw the barrel at the ball. Release it in the most direct line along the path of the pitch. Some pitches require a slightly steeper path. Others require a flatter one. But the goal stays the same: ✔️ Keep the barrel below your hands through extension. Approach = The barrel works to the side of the shoulder as the body turns toward the pitcher. Power V = The release of the lag and extension of the barrel through the baseball. Master that section of the swing, and you’ll give yourself a much better chance to create consistent contact, adjust to different pitch planes, and produce real power. Train with an expert, not an influencer.
