Used to work at this shop in Gainvesville, VA. I was there early in the morning by myself. Legit heard footsteps upstairs. Lots of footsteps. Footsteps to the tune of children running. You go up stairs and see / hear nothing. Some co-workers said "Calm down, it's just the HVAC", "Ohh...you heard the kids too, huh?", or "It's due to the ghosts from the civil war" Which is pretty common in the area. People have heard and seen ghosts in Northern VA for generations. I was convinced it was some Civil War ghost kids running a muck up there messing around with the HVAC.
