The season that he's had must have been really difficult for him, and he's dealt with it quite well." "I don't know how long his contract is. He'll make his own mind up, whether he wants to retire. We all have to retire at a certain time. I was lucky enough to think as early as April that I was going to retire at the end of the season. And that was the right thing for me to do. Q: Which Black athlete has inspired you the most? Naomi Schiff: The athlete that inspired me the most in my journey would have to be Lewis Hamilton. I think it's a no-brainer anyway that in a sport like ours there are very few people of colour and definitely very few people who are Black and so Lewis very quickly became the identifiable role model for me in my career and I was lucky that firstly I had him to look up to but also that he was incredibly good at what he does and incredibly successful so, two in one. A new F1 benchmark ninth win at the same circuit, after announcing departure from his record-breaking partnership with Mercedes, against the run of form, and also at his home race." "Discussions with Team Lewis soon afterwards led to the birth of this concept to celebrate the milestone in bronze, but was unfortunately a project that I couldn't complete in time before the move to Ferrari. Lewis commissioned a painting from me to gift to Mercedes upon his departure instead." "Here is the culmination of 11 month's modelling through digital and physical modelling and into metalwork, to creat in hyper-realistic bronze, unveiling now in the build up towards Silverstone and on show at Selfridges Oxford St for all of next week; 'Lewis Silverstone IX. Based on the concept of my most renowned sculpture of Ayrton Senna for McLaren, but now being Lewis with Union Flag held aloft as he celebrated through that Silverstone victory lap."

GRABFOOD GFSN BUS talk about tsunami prediction while they were in phuket 🐶we stayed up talking all night 🐱I was lying there talking with sky and the next morning we had to wake up really early, but the two of us just couldn’t sleep 🐶he told me the tsunami was supposed to hit Japan around 5am, which would mean around 2–3am in Thailand 🐱so I was lying there, talking with sky, kinda stressed and sky’s like eui. At first I was like “should we just go to sleep or what?” and sky said “It’s almost 2am”. Then I was like “2am? That’s when the tsunami’s supposed to hit? eui” 🐱so I said “let’s reserve a tree in front of our room, so we can climb it” Sky said “we wouldn’t make it in time”, then he added “I brought running shoes”. And I was like “would I even be able to run fast enough?” 🐱sky told me “JUST FOLLOW BEHIND ME”😭 🐱At that point I was like “I’m doomed”. So I said “can I sleep first then? If it comes, can you wake me up?”. Sky replied sth like “but our place is the first one in line facing the wave”. So I was stressed. After chipping away at his advantage Lap 48 saw the big move. Chasing the Red Bull down the Reta Oposta, he attempted to dance his black Mercedes around the outside at the Descida do Lago. Max defended with all his lack of finesse and, once again, sent both of them off track, keeping his position in the process. The political war between the garages erupted instantly, as both sides argued their case for or against a penalty. Red Bull's Jonathan Wheatley infamously claimed: "Michael, that's all about letting them race", while Mercedes argued he gained a lasting advantage by pushing Lewis off. Upon review, Max was let off without punishment by the stewards, not for the first time that season. When informed of the decision, Lewis Hamilton sarcastically exclaimed: "Of course, man". Martin Brundle ominously proclaimed that Max now knew that he could just do it again. The tension during the next laps was more than palpable. An unprecedented title fight was reaching its climax. In the end, quality prevailed as Lewis teed up his young rival through the Senna Esses, giving him no chance down the following straight and, under the roar of a São Paulo home crowd, Lewis took what he'd later call his "most special victory to date".
