He’s putting the ball in play instead of striking out all the time trying to hit a HR.

Batting .200 as a pro is insane. Back when teams had 4-5 +.300 hitters we had ways more runs. Runs equal action, action equal views, views equal money. Anyways go look at roster from the late 90s to early 2000s multiple teams with multiple guys over a 100rbis.

Dumb take. Dude gets a base hit, and you think it’s “insane”? You either A) never played baseball at a competitive level, or B) struck out 40% of the time and still thought you were one of the better players because you hit 1 HR every 6 games.

Getting a hit is his job. Preventing it is their job. That's baseball. If you can successfully bunt 40 times in a row, you do it.

Look at the stature of that hitter. He aint going yard. His job is to get on base. The left side of the infield gave him a gap. So, he took it. Smart hitting.
