Slashing winter fuel payments was wrong when Labour did it, and it's still wrong now. Voters sent a clear message to them at the local elections. It would be wise for Keir Starmer to listen.

You stood on a 2017 manifesto pledge to remove it and Kemi Badenoch called for it to be means tested in 2022. At least do some fact checking.

Says dick head who slashed social care budgets and sent thousands of old people back into care homes during covid

Your Tory government pledged to do the same. Yet, here you find yourself.

But Kemi was going to do it !! You moron !!

Disingenuous. The Tory manifesto was deliberately ambiguous on this point. It said "we will maintain all current pensioner benefits" but gave no clear commitment to maintaining universality. That's why you won't commit to reversing it!

"The Democratic Party's actions had left many U.S. citizens feeling humiliated. Signs of a Trump victory were proclaimed well before Biden withdrew from the race. The voters had had enough." 📝 @KarinaLMariani

No, it was not wrong, what is wrong is to hand out taxpayers money to people who don't need it. If Govt wants to help people then they should cut their taxes not give away their £money

Errr didn’t your party cut the warm weather payment for disabled people?! Didn’t you also dabble with cutting wfa yourselves? Didn’t your austerity do untold damage to the lives of everyone apart from the rich?

But when the Tories wanted to do it?

Yet in the Tory manifesto of 2017, “Theresa May will unveil a social care revolution in the Tory manifesto, paid for by axing winter fuel payments for wealthy pensioners.” Funny that Helen as Labour followed the Tory lead.

See that won't sit Well!. Where was you when your party did Disabled Cuts That Cost Lives!. @johnpringdns @BENEFITS_NEWS @blacktriangle1 . Political integrity means Nowt. It's Just words with no meaning!.
