🚨 WATCH: Keir Starmer's Christmas message to Britain "I'd like to wish the whole country a very happy Christmas. Right now, all across the UK, people are traveling home to be with their loved ones. "Children are bursting with excitement. Families are making the final preparations. Wrapping presents. Hanging stockings. Rushing out for last minute bits. It's a truly special time of year. "And it's a time to remind ourselves what's really important. Family. Friends. Community. "It's a time to celebrate the Christmas story and to cherish the Christian values that define it. Peace. Charity and goodwill to all. "That is the promise of the season. And just as so many put their feet up, some truly special people will be pulling on their uniforms and heading out to work. "Our NHS staff emergency services and the brave men and women of our armed forces all playing their part, doing their bit to care for the nation and to keep us safe. "Many volunteers will be out there as well. Serving food. Reaching out to help those lonely or in need. So on behalf of the whole country, I want to say a big thank you. As a nation, we should raise a glass to you this Christmas. "But more than that, we should each do our bit as well. I know many across Britain are still struggling with the cost of living. Helping with that is my priority. "But at this time of the year, which celebrates love and abundance, loss or hardship can feel even more acute. So call around to a neighbour. Check in on a friend or a relative who you haven't heard from for a while. Reach out. It can make a huge difference. "That is what Christmas is about. So whether you're at home this evening, heading to work, heading to church, or maybe heading to the pub, let's look forward and celebrate the joy and hope that Christmas brings. "From my family to yours. To everyone in the United Kingdom. I hope you all have a very happy Christmas"

When it comes to dating, there’s always this debate—drinks versus dinner versus coffee, all of that. My view is pretty simple: if you’re going to go out for drinks, especially at a cocktail bar, you might as well just get dinner. By the time you’ve had two or three rounds, you’ve basically spent the same amount of time and money you would have on a main course and a drink anyway. I think part of the hesitation—especially for guys—is not wanting to invest in a full dinner. There’s this feeling of, “Do I really want to spend two or three hours with this person if I’m not even sure I’ll like them?” And that’s fair. But at the same time, there’s some interesting research suggesting that people actually feel closer to each other when they share a meal. So if you do like the person, dinner can be a better starting point for building something real. The way around that initial uncertainty is simple. If you don’t know the person—say you met on an app—just do a quick FaceTime call first. Five or ten minutes. It’s basically a vibe check. You get a sense of the chemistry, and you can see if they actually look like their pictures. I was in an Uber a couple weeks ago in Austin, and my driver—she was probably in her fifties, recently divorced—was telling me about going on dates. She said half the time the guy’s photos show him with hair, and then she meets him and he’s bald. And she was like, “I’m not trying to date a bald man. If he goes bald while we’re together, fine, but I’m not starting there.” And I told her the same thing: just do a quick FaceTime call beforehand. It solves a lot of that. So my basic recommendation is: quick FaceTime call, then dinner. Skip the whole “let’s just grab drinks and feel it out” approach. If you’re going to meet, just have a normal date.

🐶: the 2 weeks promotion period has already come to an end. honestly, since the concert, i had this uncertain feeling and thought "can i really do all this while staying beside the members performing?" but i knew this was something i had to do. i'm the member of the group, it's my job and there's so many stays watching us. since i'm doing this in a way that's different from how i normally would do, i also wondered if it's okay for me to feel proud of myself? i still haven't been able to let go of this promotion period. for the music shows, i was actually the one who asked to participate and join the members. because if i were to be separated from the members, doing rehabilitation and resting alone... of course i know i should be resting. but i just couldn't accept it. honestly, everyone carries their own things while going through life and i didn't want to make what i was going through too obvious. at the same time, i didn't want to cause any inconvenience because you never knew what could happen. for instance, while performing and i suddenly couldn't continue and had to leave the stage midway, that would make things difficult. when one person is missing, someone else has to fill that space and the formation changes. so since i wasn't able to participate in the choreo during the mv filming, i thought it'd be meaningful enough just to able to stand with the members while keeping the original formation. that's what i explained to the company and choreographers. there's always the possibility that i might have to step out in the middle of performance. so even if i was somewhat hidden at the back, i wanted to focus on the fact that that i was still on stage together with them. i wanted to do my best to perform whenever i could. i really tried my best in my own way. those were my honest feelings. everything i've said is genuinely how i felt. so that's why i'm feeling a bit bittersweet and disappointed about everything. even so, i'm really doing my best in my own way and i sincerely mean that.

Catherine Austin Fitts: "MAHA's... most important accomplishment has been... [proving]... that Washington is absolutely committed to depopulation... [and] they're liquidating [their own] population... [by] running them through the chronic-disease machine." This clip of Fitts, a former Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, investment banker, and founder of the Solari Report (The Solari Report | Catherine Austin Fitts), is taken from a discussion with CapitalCosm (CapitalCosm) posted to YouTube on January 10, 2026. ---------------Partial transcription of clip--------------- "The MAHA movement was very hopeful that you could turn things around in Washington. And I was glad they were willing to try. But what I said is the only way to turn this around is if on a decentralized basis, we just turn it around. In other words, stop hoping that you can vote your way out of this problem in your daily lives and in your money. Turn it around yourself by withdrawing consent, by withdrawing support. "So the real fight is going to be on the ground day to day to day. I'm glad MAHA's doing what they're doing. And I think their most important accomplishment has been by going through the confirmation hearings and trying to get done what they're getting done. They have proved beyond any shadow of a doubt that Washington is absolutely committed to depopulation. "I highly recommend Toby Rogers' work. But if you— First of all, they tried to get the retirement system on a sound basis. And when they couldn't get it on a sound basis, their only way of adjusting, when they couldn't get it on a sound financial basis, their way of adjusting is to lower life expectancy. And it's a simple formula, and it works. Social Security is financially improving as life expectancy, as all-cause mortality goes up and life expectancy drops. So the United States' life expectancy has diverged tremendously from the other sort of high–net–worth industrialized countries. So that's number one. "But the other thing is, if you can't plunder in the third world, you can plunder your own, your own country, your own people. And if you look at how they poisoned the population, they're liquidating the population essentially through many different operations and companies owned by private equity and making a fortune on it. "So if you look at the game, there's a wonderful political economist named Toby Rogers who speaks about this and talks about the way, if I get a woman working in the mines in a poor country in South America, the most I can make out of her as a slave is maybe $20,000. But if I take somebody with $2 million in an IRA and $2 million in a 401k and a nice house, you know, I can basically wipe out their entire family wealth running them through the chronic disease machine. "And it's true, because if, you know, so Switzerland has one of the best healthcare systems in the world. It's $8,500 per person per capita. In the United States, it's $13,500. And the healthcare system is far worse than Switzerland. So, you know, this is a— This is a money machine. It's been financialized. It's not a, it's not a health care system."
