We attempted to create other accounts, but they were also taken down. That’s when it became clear this wasn’t random. But instead of reacting, we had an internal conversation that changed everything. We made a simple decision: If we couldn’t talk, we would build. If we couldn’t defend ourselves in public, we would let the tech do it for us. So we went quiet. And we went all in. 💪 Day after day. No noise. No hype. Just execution. We visited George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon last week. Here are our top three takeaways: 01. Commitment to Athletics The athletic spaces on campus including locker rooms, weight lifting facilities, offices - and even a golf simulator - show the commitment behind George Fox Athletics 03. Great People We had the chance to meet 10 coaches and the AD during our visit at George Fox and all were extremely welcoming. June 4th, 1994 our lives forever changed. We said, “I do!”. With those two words, we said, yes, to all the highs, the lows, and everything in between. God has blessed us with four absolutely amazing children who are now amazing adults, with their own best friends/significant others (that they’re doing life with), we have three incredible grandsons, and a beautiful granddaughter on the way. We’ve lived where we both grew up (on the East Coast), and have now been out here in San Diego for just over 11 years. We’ve gotten jobs (and lost jobs), we’ve had more times than we can count where we couldn’t make ends meet, even though both you and I were working two, and sometimes three jobs at a time, and we’ve been blessed in ways that we could’ve never dreamed of. We’ve watched both my parents pass on, and are now dealing with the overwhelmingly difficult challenge of seeing your parents struggle with their own health in ways that no one should have to go through. Through it all (even in the midst of the chaos), we’ve been blessed to be by each other‘s sides! I thank God for you every day, Jillian! I love our adventures together (the big ones where we fly to somewhere we’ve never been before, and the little ones where we hop in the car with no agenda, and just drive). I love when we find ourselves in deeper conversation, laughter, and tears of joy then ever expected, and in the moments of silence, where no words are even spoken, but when we’re together, just being where our feet are. As the world (as we know it), keeps getting crazier and crazier, let’s continue to keep Christ in the center of all we do, keep leaning on and lifting each other up when it’s needed, and keep living the lives that we have been so incredibly blessed to live together. I love you with all my heart Jillian. Happy 32nd (heading into our 33rd year), Anniversary.

It was a Friday night in October when I received an email with the subject line… “Custom Golf Bag | Sammy Spieth” I remember it vividly. We had a horrible day in sales and I was a little down in the dumps. But I told my wife that this could be huge. We spent months working and finalizing the design. Below are some of the early drawings ⬇️ After getting the bags finished, I knew these could be really special. I had no clue if the bags were going to show up to the Par 3 course yesterday. Honestly, I was nervous. But after seeing Jordan’s wife with the bag in her hand, I had such a sense of relief. We made it. Yesterday will be a day that we will always look back on in the history of Charlie Golf. Really, really cool stuff. A legit pinch me moment.

The human loaded us into the van just before 6 this morning. That's ridiculously early for her unless it's a dog Show weekend, which it isn't. Turns out she and the spare human had decided since it's been so hot out, they'd take us to a big off leash area really early in the morning. We don't typically go to many dog parks so we can avoid dogs that might be pushy or rude. And not just to baby rottie Kenji and I! Also our human. You'd be amazed how many dogs will chase her wheelchair tires, or jump all over her because she's seated. Some even try to steal her treats because they're easier to reach. But before 7 the park was pretty much empty. Except for us. And a gazillion mosquitoes. It was great though. So much to sniff, and we had a good run. Kenji practiced his recalls and his giant moose calf legs sprinted back every time! There was still dew on the long grass so we came back a little soggy. It was definitely worth getting up early for! And the best part, we came home just in time for breakfast!!! 🎥 Me. Fast as fluff. #LifeOfChesnyy #SaturdayShenanigans

Last week we introduced Kenji to the button that initiates a video call to an emergency contact. Because he already knows to push buttons, he only needed to learn that it was a paw push not a nose push, and the cue "FaceTime". Today he had his second training session and we moved the button into the living room where it will be used, and he immediately went and pushed it when cued. Then we started to add distance. We did a few runs from within the living room, then a few from the kitchen, and finally a few from the back porch. He did it every single time. Young dogs learn very quickly. We kept the session short and just did a few repetitions at the furthest distance. It's tempting to go further away or into a different room, but it's better to leave that for the next session. Overtraining can take the fun out of it for the dog. Yes, they need to get lots of repetitions in for a behavior to become precise and reliable, but we want to keep it enjoyable and not increase difficulty too quickly. If he's already done several repetitions from a distance and then we ask him to do it from a room further away, then we run the risk of him losing interest in the activity and becoming more interested in some of the distractions he passes along the way. Like his bone and a toy box. When training a new skill, the dog needs lots of wins. It's far better for us to end the session where we did, rather than move to the bedroom and have him decide to stop and check out his bone on his way to the button. In a day or so we will do another session with him doing it once from the living room, a couple of fast repetitions from the back porch with exciting rewards, and then increase the difficulty while he's highly motivated. The session after that we will probably hook it up and introduce the sounds that it makes. He's doing awesome at this. It's not surprising. We know that there's more in his giant noggin than just marshmallows. Strait of Hormuz over the last 24 hours: another "calm before the storm" moment? On the escalation front, some of the OSINT accounts pointed out that the recent attacks point to a ground operation. I have no idea on that front, so I will leave the experts to it. But from a flow perspective, we are back to the start. Kpler has done a good job tracking shadow transits, and even though the data might not get revised for a few days, it is obvious the slowdown is coming. The last 2 days, flows were 0.074 and 0.198 million bbls. The previous 5 days were 5.516 million b/d. This brings the weekly average to 3.98 million b/d. Looking at the video from MarineTraffic, you can see that it's about as quiet as quiet gets. Iranian flows will also slow to nothing as the US naval blockade is in place. With the recent US/Iran escalation moving to civilian targets, who knows where we go from here...
