@REK Are these still tele operated? I see so many missed contact shots with these compared to humans, they need some type of targetting -> realignment algo before strike initiation.

@REK They still can't land a blow worth shit. I know that the rule of thumb is that this is the worst it's gonna look like. But man, do they need to work on their ability to lock onto a target.

@REK Are they limited in sensing or something? Autonomous sumo bots finish matches in sub second time. Hell when I did it in 07 we were doing matches in 3-4 seconds as students.

@REK Stereo cameras on humanoids are widely different to manage than mono cameras on wheels. E.G. substantially harder to do proper CV

@REK Not sure why you would need stereo. Fairly simple bounding box can determine distance with decent enough accuracy to make a hit. We were taking samples @10hz and had great results. The code wasn’t my cupa t though. I was responsible for structure and traction.
