Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said he does not want Slovakia to become part of a military conflict “because of some Article 5.” He stressed that Slovakia is a NATO member, values its membership and cooperation, and cares about fulfilling its commitments. I left Slovakia in 2000 and went through 10 years of blood, abuse and pain because I wanted to be surrounded by opportunity, not by a bunch of bread and cheese working in a grocery store from 16!
