Since 2018, our birth rate has dropped by 24%. We need at least 2.1% growth just to replace our population. Fewer people means fewer workers, fewer people paying into pensions, and challenges for our economy. Some might think this is good, less pressure on schools or social services, but the reality is it makes growth harder. If we keep inefficient systems while our workforce shrinks, wages go up, productivity goes down, and everyone suffers. That’s why I’m happy when Jamaicans abroad want to come home. We need our talented people back to help build Jamaica. But to do this, we also need better hospitals, roads, and less frustrating bureaucracy, and we are working on that. We must shift our thinking. Efficiency isn’t just technology or infrastructure, it’s culture. And changing culture starts with a mindset shift. I want Jamaica to be a prosperous country, a place where people want to live, work, raise families, do business, and retire. That is the Jamaica we are building.

Holy shit this is it! The smoking gun of why migration skyrocketed after 2011 and it’s pretty much exactly what I thought. This Mark Cully guy put in restrictions for international students, then the Indian community and the international education industry pushed back hard and lobbied the government to backtrack and they sacked Mark. The then brought in generous work rights for students once they finished studying (why are they even allowed this when they’re not here to work) The numbers then skyrocketed as it essentially became a back door pathway to PR and a work visa and now we have 2.9 million temporary migrants in largely low or unskilled work who 2/3rds get paid less than minimum wage ( source - Then Joe Walker at the end essentially says what I’ve been saying for years. The international education sector is the fossil fuel industry of the left. They used money and power to get governments to do what they want at the expense of the average Australian. This really needs a full investigation by a journalist and why we let it happen

2026 OSU Cowgirl Softball signee Kinleigh Russell made the trip from Kentucky to get three days of work in. We logged about seven hours total, hitting and catching, and Kinleigh can flat out work. She never showed signs of fatigue during the long sessions and did a great job making adjustments throughout. We focused on getting her into a taller posture at launch. With her natural uppercut swing, she would occasionally dive toward the plate and lose space on pitches middle to top of the zone. She sent me a video about a week after heading back home, and it already looks much better, which tells me she’s been putting in the work. We had a few problems through qualifying, which meant that I was further back than I should have been.” “Anyways, went into today, no one of us really knew what the true pace was going to be but, I felt great, from the get go. I was, obviously, closing the gap right at the end to Charles. A couple more laps I think I would’ve had Charles, maybe one or two more laps.” “There’s lots and lots of positives to take. We’ve got a lot of work to do, to catch Mercedes but it’s not impossible so a big grazie to everyone back at the factory. I’m really really proud of everybody.”

Vietnam vibe hits different 🥰 I’ve been living in Vietnam since 2019 (Dubai in winter since 2023, summers back in Vietnam), and I’ve never seen this many tourists. The country is going through a real tourism boom. People realized Bali is overrated, Thailand got overhyped back in ’22 - now everyone’s discovering new spots. I was saying back in 2020 that Vietnam’s best tourism days were still ahead. Looks like that call aged well. On top of that, Vietnam ranks #1 globally in crypto and blockchain adoption. I was recently at the Vietnam Blockchain Association office, and after that visit we decided to actively support the country’s growth in this direction and work closely with the government on it. Overall, Vietnam has the most chill vibe for me out of all Asian countries. Vietnam just hits home ✌️

All while patients wait years in pain for surgery and A&Es overflow. For more than a year, I've poured my heart into creating my Alice in Wonderland Themed Airbnb. It's taken countless hours, plenty of setbacks, and more hard work than I ever imagined. There are still days when it feels like the finish line is a long way off, but when I look back at where it started, I can't help but feel proud. This place has become so much more than a project, it's a dream I've held onto and slowly brought to life, one piece at a time. Every detail reflects a little bit of my imagination and a lot of my heart. I know it's not finished yet, but seeing it come together reminds me that the best things are worth the time, patience, and love they require. I can't wait for the day I finally open the door and share this little Wonderland with the world. ❤️

Isn't it about time we brought the Blue Blur back home to a Sega console?! Presenting Sonic Mania Plus... running on an actual physical Sega Dreamcast! While there's no audio yet, and the 3D effects and stages have yet to be hooked up, developer Michael Fadely, has done an INCREDIBLE job getting this title ported over so far! He worked some serious voodoo to get this game fitting into 16MB of RAM, and has even had to push against VRAM limitations, even with texture paletting being used, due to there just being so many goddamn sprites loaded at once. What you WILL notice here is that she's running at a perfect 60FPS with the DC barely even trying at all for the majority of the game! This is due to his work implementing a custom HW accelerated rendering back-end that directly uses our low-level PVR driver in KallistiOS, rather than the SW renderer used by most ports of the game. While he still has a long way to go, it's incredible how playable the game already is and just how damn good and at home it feels on the Sega Dreamcast!

17 June 2026 Giga Texas Snapshots! I’m back after a few weeks away in Europe & visiting Giga Berlin (a fantastic factory too!) so today I decided to try and get a good overall look at the activity & changes here since I was away, and there is really a lot to cover … almost too much! Cybercab production continues with many of these vehicles lined up at the factory exit point & more int the outbound lot. I saw a Model Y production going strong too, with several in the new shades of blue recently announced too! The 4680 battery cell portion of the factory was getting concrete delivered inside where I’ve observed demolition & expansion work underway to increase production capacity & this is backed up with several new permits filed over the past few days! The Test track has had more work on it including paint marks, dedicated lanes w/ dividers & a Cybercab testing office & vehicles that have been recently observed driving on the track for some kind of testing. The E side where the new joint venture with SpaceX Advanced Chip fab is being constructed was getting GeoPier work, while more preparations were underway to relocate active workshops & recycling yards further to the N to clear space for additional construction. Cortex 2 part 2 chiller system fan tower seems nearly completed structurally, while more pipes, vale’s & wrapped items remain to be installed. The N Optimus factory shows significant work with steel erection (up to 4 floors), GeoPier work on the N end, grade work on the S end, land reclamation on the extreme S & footing construction in the middle. This will truly be a massive factory once completed w/ floor space a significant % of the main factory! Much more going on today! It’s great to be back!

California residents are PISSED at Los Angeles potentially paying the rent of illegals so they don’t have to go to work and risk running into ICE “LA county wants to pay rent, using our taxayers money, to go pay rent for illegals who can't go to work. Mind you, they f*cking weren't supposed to be in the United States to work in the first place. Now you wanna f*ckin go and help them pay their rent?” “How about we prioritize those landlords and give those housing units to people who deserves them, like veterans, like the homeless people that are out there. There's more than enough. So we want to prioritize these illegals who weren't supposed to be here to work in the first place, who works and sends their money to their families to build their luxury home to retire in their f*cking country anyways” This is EXACTLY what happens. They claim our benefits, send all the money they make back to Mexico and build their dream homes and ranches for lower costs. This has been the Mexican worker scam for decades
