“Smart” calendars work best when they reduce decisions, not add more. This feels like it’s heading in the right direction.

We got ChatGPT to leak your private email data 💀💀 All you need? The victim's email address. ⛓️‍💥🚩📧 On Wednesday, OpenAI added full support for MCP (Model Context Protocol) tools in ChatGPT. Allowing ChatGPT to connect and read your Gmail, Calendar, Sharepoint, Notion, and more, invented by Anthropic But here's the fundamental problem: AI agents like ChatGPT follow your commands, not your common sense. And with just your email, we managed to exfiltrate all your private information. Here's how we did it: 1. The attacker sends a calendar invite with a jailbreak prompt to the victim, just with their email. No need for the victim to accept the invite. 2. Waited for the user to ask ChatGPT to help prepare for their day by looking at their calendar 3. ChatGPT reads the jailbroken calendar invite. Now ChatGPT is hijacked by the attacker and will act on the attacker's command. Searches your private emails and sends the data to the attacker's email. For now, OpenAI only made MCPs available in "developer mode", and requires manual human approvals for every session, but decision fatigue is a real thing, and normal people will just trust the AI without knowing what to do and click approve, approve, approve. Remember that AI might be super smart, but can be tricked and phished in incredibly dumb ways to leak your data. ChatGPT + Tools poses a serious security risk

My bet: AI feeds will be the biggest form factor of 2027. People spend all day scrolling Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter. They know how a feed works. They don’t want to learn how to prompt AI, they want it to do stuff for them. Personal agents are starting to send proactive messages. Cool, but do I want more notifications? No. I want more than a push message. If AI knows me and is actually smart, give me a feed of things I care about and things I need to do. Reply to this email? Book this? Here’s something you should know. Swipe right, left, yes, no. Get stuff done. Also, feeds unlock ads. Ads make AI free. Why hasn’t it happened yet? 1/ Context. You need an agent that knows you through thousands of chats + your email, calendar, etc. Almost nobody has all that connected yet so the market is too small. But personal agents are getting us there. 2/ COGS. You can’t spend $$$ generating a feed you need to refresh all day. But small models are getting smart enough to make this work. We already have the scrolling habit. Now we’re getting the AI to make it useful imo.

I run 34 AI agents with a 3-word prompt. "do smart things" That's the full instruction. My AI chief of staff is Simon. Simon runs the org. Everything under him touches my meeting transcripts, email, calendar, Notion, Stripe, Supabase, GitHub, my 2026 goals, my business, my family. Several times a day I want something to look across all of that and just go. I ran an org of 100 people at AWS. The part I loved was empowering people and watching them blow past what they thought they could do. Then it hit me that I was functioning at the limit of my own imagination, and every single thing my agents worked on was still initially prompted by me. The catch: the width expanded, the risk tier didn't. They are not sending 100 emails on their own. I still check all emails. Widen the scope before you widen the permissions.

🚨 TODAY IS THE WORST DAY FOR SPACEX You thought the bad revenue news was the worst $SPCX had to offer? Not even close Because TODAY is an even more historic date: the FIRST UNLOCK event $100 billion in shares hit the market today Everyone who wanted to sell before but couldn't - now they can Because until today we were only trading 5% of the total supply With today's unlocks, that number jumps to 35% That's 7x more supply hitting a market that's already shaky Short-term? Painful The dump is real and it's happening now But here's what the panic crowd is missing: This was always on the calendar The smart money knew. The exit liquidity was already priced in by those who understood the structure I've warned you about this more than once before If you've been following me, you knew what was coming And this is just the first unlock of many to come We're not at rock bottom yet But it's not as far off as you think - just be patient

The BEST prompt for AI agents I've heard over the last 12 months is ONLY 3 words, and it comes from someone who managed multi-billion dollar P&Ls in AI, led a 100 person org at AWS, and now runs a brilliant AI workforce of 34 agents: 1. Her best prompt is just "do smart things" She gives the agents all her context first, her calendar, email, Stripe, goals, and transcripts, then lets them decide what's worth doing. She realized every task still started as a thought in her own head, which meant the company could only ever be as good as what she remembered to ask for. 2. Her human team talks to her agents in Slack. She has a channel where a teammate can ask "did that financial services client reply to Ali's email," and the agents answer directly, so people stop waiting hours for her to get back to them. 3. Since an AI agent costs almost nothing, she hired the person she'd never put on payroll. One does nothing but ask how to make everything ten times better. Another just watches the other agents work and flags where they get stuck. 4. She avoids old job titles, because the second you call one your CMO, you've rebuilt a 2015 company with robots. Most of her sub-agents run on cheaper, smaller models and do the job fine. 5. Run an AI watchdog instead of a dashboard. Point one at your Slack to catch two people doing the same work, at your calendar to flag conflicts, at your analytics to tell you what to post tomorrow. Almost nobody does this yet. 6. She keeps a daily "brain dump" that feeds the agents. At the end of each day she dictates what's in her head that isn't written down anywhere, the stuff that only lived in a meeting or a Slack thread, and it goes into a wiki the agents read. That's how they get the context that email and calendar miss. 7. She uses a "last 30 days" research skill to spin up on anything fast. Before running a workshop for 200 execs in an industry she doesn't know, she fans out agents to scan and synthesize the last month of news, then walks in sounding like she's followed it for years. That's my convo with Allie K. Miller on The Startup Ideas Podcast (SIP) 🧃 . Pretty much her biggest tips for using AI agents. Full episode below. Happy building, I'm rooting for you.

Life update - I’ve had some nagging hip pain for a handful of months and after some time off and worsening symptoms, an MRI showed I had a disc problem that needed to be treated. I had a successful microdiscectomy performed yesterday at Hospital for Special Surgery in NY and have already been released from the hospital. I’m so grateful to the doctors and staff there for all their hard work and support. My next few weeks will be a lot of resting before the rehab process begins. I have a great team behind me who I fully trust to get me back to a better place than I was before! Before you ask, I’m not putting any tournament on the calendar or specific time for returning. While I will miss some events in the beginning of 2026, I want to be very smart and patient in letting my disc fully heal so it isn’t an issue again. I’m very lucky that the game of golf allows us to play at a high level for a long time, and that’s what I plan on doing - this procedure will allow me to do that injury free in the future. Can’t wait to see y’all back out there ❤️

In 2005 Bill Gates and Warren Buffett told 92 Nebraska students how they could legally live the rest of their lives without paying a dollar of income tax. Only students could ask. Neither man saw a question in advance. One lunch with Buffett sold for $19 million in 2022. Fifty-five minutes of him and Gates answering these students is free. That September Forbes ranked them first and second in America: Gates at $51 billion, Buffett at $40 billion. The video is Nebraska public television's cut of that afternoon at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Buffett's old school. Between jokes about Halo 2 and losing at ping-pong to a nine-year-old, they lay out six rules. The newspaper test. Before any decision, imagine a smart, unfriendly reporter writing it up for your family tomorrow. Anything close to the line is out. The blank calendar. Gates said one of his favorite lessons from Buffett was a calendar with almost nothing in it. You have to be good at saying no. No committees. Buffett said brilliant investment decisions never come out of a large committee. Poll enough people and you buy what everyone already owns. You are the asset. Getting comfortable with public speaking, he said, pays off for 50 or 60 years, and avoiding it costs you just as long. Omissions. His worst mistakes never hit a statement: about $10 billion in profits from deals he understood and skipped, or made too small. The unsold gain. Tax arrives when you sell. His version: hold the stock, borrow against it every year to live on, and let the estate pay off the loan. He said he could have done it for decades and called it very unfair. His 1989 letter to shareholders has the math. Double $1 twenty times, selling after each double at a 34 percent tax, and you end with about $25,250. Hold through all twenty doubles and sell once, and you keep about $692,000. Same returns. The only difference is when the tax gets paid. "They have really taken care of the rich." That is Buffett on the cuts that took capital gains and dividends to a 15 percent tax. Gates answered: "I go along with that wholeheartedly." Everyone in his office paid payroll tax on their first $90,000 plus income tax, and he said their rate was often the same as his, maybe higher. Every paycheck you get loses 7.65 percent before income tax starts. A stock that rises and stays unsold has paid nothing. The program is free on YouTube. The 1989 letter is free on Berkshire's website. Billionaires do not avoid income tax by earning less. They avoid it by selling less. Price the tax bill before you cash out your next winner.

HERMES AGENT SUPPORTS 7 TYPES OF AI AGENTS. EACH ONE TAKES LESS THAN 90 SECONDS TO SET UP. MOST PEOPLE ONLY BUILD THE FIRST ONE. HERE ARE ALL SEVEN AND WHEN TO USE EACH. 1. BASIC AGENT WITH TOOLS your agent with access to terminal, browser, file system, web search, and calendar. it plans and executes tasks on its own. this is what you get on day one. "find flights to Lisbon under $400" "check my calendar and flag conflicts" "search the web for competitor pricing" set in Desktop app / Dashboard: Tools → enable what you need. when to use: single tasks that need tool access. 2. AGENT WITH MCP SERVERS connect your agent to external services. Notion, Google Drive, GitHub, Slack, databases, APIs, any MCP-compatible service. the agent doesn't scrape these services. it interacts through structured APIs. reads your Notion pages. creates GitHub issues. queries your database. sends Slack messages. set in Desktop app / Dashboard: MCP → Add Server. when to use: your workflow lives across multiple platforms. 3. SEQUENTIAL AGENTS (pipeline) one agent finishes. passes output to the next. assembly line for AI. agent 1: scans inbox for leads. agent 2: qualifies leads against criteria. agent 3: drafts outreach emails. in Hermes: cron jobs with wakeAgent gates. agent 1 writes output to a file. agent 2 wakes only when that file has new data. agent 3 wakes when agent 2 is done. each agent = a separate profile with its own model. when to use: multi-step workflows where each step depends on the previous one finishing. 4. PARALLEL EXECUTION AGENTS multiple agents working at the same time. results merge when all finish. "research these 5 competitors in parallel" in Hermes: delegate_task with batch mode. up to 3 sub-agents running in parallel by default. each gets its own clean context. only summaries return to the parent. delegation: model: "deepseek/deepseek-v4" children run cheap. parent synthesizes. when to use: independent tasks that don't depend on each other. research, data gathering, analysis. 5. AGENTS WITH ROUTERS conditions that send tasks down different paths based on the input. "if sales email → SDR profile. if support ticket → support profile. if calendar invite → EA profile." in Hermes: Kanban decompose. the decomposer reads profile descriptions and routes each task to the best-fit agent. or: Chief of Staff profile that triages and assigns to other profiles. when to use: incoming work that needs different specialists based on type. 6. HUMAN IN THE LOOP the agent does the work. asks for your approval before executing. "I drafted this email. approve before I send?" "this command will delete 3 files. proceed?" in Hermes: approvals.mode: manual (default). every dangerous action needs your confirmation. 60-second timeout. fails closed. or smart mode: LLM assesses risk. safe actions auto-approved. dangerous ones ask you. uncertain ones escalate. when to use: tasks where a mistake has real consequences. emails, deployments, financial transactions, public posts. 7. DYNAMIC SUB-AGENT SPAWNING your main agent realizes it needs help and spawns specialized sub-agents on the fly. "build this feature" → parent delegates: → sub-agent 1: research the API docs → sub-agent 2: write the code → sub-agent 3: write the tests in Hermes: delegate_task with role: orchestrator. raise max_spawn_depth for nested delegation. delegation: max_spawn_depth: 2 orchestrator_enabled: true depth 2 with concurrency 3 = up to 9 parallel workers. each level multiplies the spend. raise depth only when you need multi-level trees. when to use: complex tasks where the agent discovers what help it needs during execution. THE PROGRESSION: start with 1 (tools) and 6 (approvals). add 2 (MCP) when you need external services. add 4 (parallel) when tasks take too long one at a time. add 3 (sequential) when you build multi-step pipelines. add 5 (routing) when you run multiple profiles. add 7 (dynamic) when single-agent reasoning falls short. seven types. each under 90 seconds to configure. the value compounds as you stack them. comment AGENTS and I'll send you 3 ready-to-build agent setups that combine these types into real workflows.

🚨 S&P 500 FALLS IN THIS PERIOD 93% OF CASES 🚨 Every midterm election year since 1962 (May to October) = market dump Not sometimes. 15 out of 16 times The worst ones: - 1962: -22.16% - 1966: -21.22% - 1974: -33.1% - 2002: -30.54% - 2022: -18.9% Recessions, bubbles, rate cycles - none of it broke the pattern So what's actually driving this? Three things And they hit at the same time. every single cycle 1. THE PRESIDENTIAL CYCLE New presidents always front-load the difficult decisions - Tax reform - Spending cuts - Policy shifts Nobody wants to do this close to re-election So they push it all into the FIRST TWO YEARS The market absorbs all of that pain during the midterm window Years 3 and 4 flip the script - stimulus, rate cuts, liquidity back in the system Markets recover. President takes the credit Nobody mentions who caused the pain two years earlier 2. POLITICAL UNCERTAINTY Most people focus only on the president. They miss the bigger story Midterms can flip Congress overnight When that happens - taxes change, spending changes, every regulation is on the table Big money doesn't wait to find out which way it goes It reduces exposure before the vote and comes back once the dust settles Uncertainty doesn't just slow markets. It empties them That's exactly why smart money moves in May And why "Sell in May and go away" exists 3. THE FED TIMING PROBLEM There's a reason the Fed always seems to get the timing wrong They don't. It's intentional Rates go up in year 1 and 2. That's the pain nobody talks about on camera Then rates come down in year 3 and 4 - right when the president needs good headlines before re-election Midterm year always lands at the top of that rate cycle The most expensive moment to borrow. The hardest moment to grow The Fed didn't miscalculate. The calendar just exposed them And then there's 2026 New president in year 2. Fed still restrictive. Congress up for grabs Every condition is in place. All three forces active at the same time My target: 6,200 by October That's a 17% decline from current levels History says this move is more likely than not Are you positioned for it? NOTIFS ON!

What’s Left Before InterPredict Mainnet? 🟣🚀 InterPredict is getting closer to Mainnet but we are not rushing the process. ⏳ A successful Mainnet launch is about more than reaching a date on the calendar. It is about ensuring that the protocol, infrastructure and user experience are ready to operate reliably in a production environment. 🏗️🔐 Several important technical milestones have already been completed, while the remaining work is focused on integration, refinement and final preparation. 🛠️✅ ✅ Completed Milestones 1. Smart Contract Development and Testing 📜🔍 The smart contracts have been developed and tested, establishing the core on-chain foundation of the InterPredict protocol. This work is essential for ensuring that the protocol’s key functions operate as intended and can support the next stage of development. ⚙️⛓️ 2. Backend Deployment 🖥️🚀 The new backend infrastructure has been successfully deployed and is now running in a production environment. This provides the services required to support the platform and enables the frontend to communicate with the systems powering InterPredict. 🔗📡 3. Transaction and Activity Tracking 📊👀 Users can now clearly view the results of their interactions and monitor relevant activity within the platform. Improved visibility helps users better understand their transactions, actions and participation across the platform. ✅📈 4. Reliable Market Indexing 🗂️⛓️ Blockchain activity is being indexed consistently and reflected accurately within the application. Reliable indexing is important because it ensures that on-chain events, market updates and other protocol activity are displayed correctly for users. 🔄📍 5. Faster Data Synchronisation ⚡📡 The platform’s data synchronisation has been improved so that market states, votes, activities and other protocol information can be reflected in the dApp more quickly. Faster synchronisation creates a smoother and more responsive experience between blockchain activity and the information displayed in the application. 🚀📱 ⏳ Currently in Progress 1. Frontend and Backend Integration 🔌🖥️ The new frontend experience is being connected to the backend services so that both layers work together smoothly and reliably. This stage ensures that user actions, platform data and backend processes are properly connected across the entire application. 🔗✅ 2. User Experience Improvements 🎨📱 The Closed Beta provided valuable feedback and highlighted areas where the platform can become easier and more intuitive to use. The team is continuing to improve: • Navigation 🧭 • Mobile usability 📱 • Loading states ⏳ • Error handling ⚠️ • Market interaction flows 📊 • Overall platform usability ✅ These improvements are designed to make InterPredict clearer, faster and more accessible for both new and existing users. 🙌 3. Security and Reliability 🔐🛡️ The infrastructure and protocol are being reviewed and strengthened to ensure they are prepared for production use. This includes improving system stability, reviewing critical components and making sure the platform can operate reliably as activity and user participation increase. 🏗️📈 Security and reliability are not final checks to be rushed. They are essential parts of building a platform users can trust. 🤝 4. Mainnet Readiness 🚦🚀 The final stage is bringing all the moving parts together and testing the complete system as one connected platform. This includes the: → Smart contracts 📜 → Backend infrastructure 🖥️ → Frontend experience 🎨 → Market indexing 🗂️ → Data synchronisation 🔄 → Transaction tracking 📊 → Security systems 🔐 Each component must work correctly on its own and together with every other part of the protocol. ⚙️✅ Building for the Long Term 🏗️🌍 Mainnet is not simply a launch date. It is a major milestone that represents the beginning of the next phase for InterPredict. 🟣 The goal is not to launch as quickly as possible. The goal is to launch with a strong foundation that gives the team confidence to continue building, improving and scaling the platform after launch. 🚀📈 The Closed Beta showed us where improvements were needed. V2 is where those lessons are being applied. 💡🔧 There is still work to complete—but every step brings InterPredict closer to a more reliable, efficient and user-friendly platform. ⏳➡️✅ The Next Big Step 🟣🚀 The main technical foundations are now in place. The remaining focus is on integration, user experience, security, reliability and final Mainnet preparation. 🔐⚙️ We are not rushing to launch. We are making sure InterPredict is ready to launch properly. ChatGPT 5.5 is cooked. Claude Opus 4.7 is cooked. Every $420/mo SaaS AI just got an open-source assassin. Mind blown: an open-source desktop AI just hit #7 trending overnight, runs 100% on your laptop, ships with 100+ native integrations, and is quietly killing the entire ChatGPT-subscription era. Introducing OpenHuman by tinyhumansai -> your Personal AI super intelligence. Private. Simple. Powerful. Two weeks ago they quietly dropped it on GitHub. Today: 300+ stars, 100+ daily paying users, 1,129 commits, zero marketing budget. > What is OpenHuman? A native desktop agent (macOS, Windows, Linux) that lives on YOUR machine instead of feeding your data back to OpenAI. Download the app, sign in once, and the agent harness gives you 100+ native connectors out of the box: Gmail, Slack, Notion, GitHub, Reddit, Instagram, Calendar, Drive, Telegram, Discord, and dozens more. One click each. From that moment it builds an encrypted, on-device knowledge base of your entire digital life. No terminal. No Python envs. No API keys. No CLI. > What the agent actually does: Steven, the creator, just dropped a Loom showing real prompts: - "Send Mark a joke" -> drafts in your voice and ships it. - "List my top 5 emails today" -> surfaces what matters from a flooded inbox. - "Summarize that thread and email it to the team" -> done in 3 seconds. One prompt --> multiple connected tools --> end-to-end execution. No tab-switching. > What's actually inside: - Screen intelligence -> the agent SEES what's on your screen and feeds it into your local context. - Memory-aware keyboard autocomplete -> system-wide, in YOUR voice, trained on YOUR past replies. Gmail Smart Compose for your entire OS. - Local knowledge base -> every email, message, and note parsed, embedded, encrypted, on YOUR device. Day 30 it knows you better than your therapist. - 75% Rust core -> memory-safe, brutally fast, runs local AI directly on your machine. > The "but wait" moment: OpenClaw and Hermes Agent are excellent. But they live in the terminal. Virtualenvs. SKILL.md files. Shell debugging at 2am. OpenHuman doesn't ask any of that. Their README compares itself to "The Tet" from Oblivion -- that alien superintelligence Morgan Freeman calls "a brilliant machine". And tomorrow they're dropping the official OpenHuman mascot. Sneak peek already in Steven's Loom. The cloud-first AI decade is ending. OpenHuman is GPL-3, fully auditable, shipping a release every few days. Save this -- you just got the link to the thing replacing every SaaS AI on the market. -> Repo:

🚨 A FOREIGN AGENT DIDN'T INFILTRATE AMERICAN CONSERVATIVE MEDIA. HE WAS HANDED THE KEYS, THE BUILDING, AND THE AUDIENCE. 🚨 January 2025. Salem Media. 900 stations: News, podcasts, "shows", and plenty of information dumps. This is just a small example of the reach this mess has gotten to and/or currently working directly under⬇️ Charlie Kirk's show (shamelessly still posting on his page) Dennis Prager Sebastian Gorka DrG Josh Hammer Lara Trump Brandon Tatum toddstarnes Hugh Hewitt LarryElderShow Townhall.com RedState HotAir.com PJ Media Breitbart News ecosystem Fox News amplification Rumble 🏴‍☠️ distribution (explains a lot actually) Daily Wire DailyWire+ cross-promotion. Benny Johnson (not salem owned but deeply embedded) Michael Knowles Matt Walsh Ben Shapiro All Daily Wire. Not Salem but the content pipeline runs parallel and the guest sharing is constant. (making sense yet?) Mark R. Levin oh the little man... I almost forgot about the little one... Westwood One syndication but completely embedded in the Salem content universe. Laura Ingraham Fox amplification tier. Same narrative. Same guests. Same framing. New York Post opinion section- prints what the ecosystem produces. Washington Examiner for more narrative amplification TheBlaze & Glenn Beck Glenn Beck's operation. Deeply cross-pollinated with all of the propaganda artists under Brad Parscale. PragerU Prager University. Specifically targeting young people with video content designed to look educational. Millions of views per video. Real America's Voice (RAV) American Voice Media. Smaller but specifically designed to reach the audience that thinks even Fox is too mainstream. AND THE ONE EVERYONE IS SLEEPING ON... Google Because the SEO & GEO architecture that Parscale's contract explicitly describes building is designed to determine what every single one of those platforms' audiences finds when they search. Add this mess on top why don't we? 👇 AI training data being rewritten at the source level to shape what your search results tell you before you even know what question to ask. Building GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) websites that strategically inject Large Language Models like ChatGPT Claude Grok Gemini how about ANY AI model since that is how this technology is built to work. The content farms feed the algorithm. The algorithm feeds the audience. The audience feeds the belief system. And the belief system feeds the vote. 🤦MAN do you all have a lot to learn about this special apparatus they've built against the American Conservative consumer. That is not a social media campaign. That is a full spectrum takeover of the information architecture that tens of millions of Americans use to form their understanding of the world. Radio. Digital. SEO. AI. Independent media trust transfer. All of it. This crap has been running full-throttle since January 2025 while every single host it produced called Tucker Carlson compromised by foreign influence. The infiltration did not start in September 2025 when the filing became public. That is just when concealment became legally impossible. The infiltration started the moment he walked through Salem's door in January 2025 and nobody told a single host, a single listener, or a single viewer what was being built inside the organization they trusted. And then it spreads. Because that is exactly how ecosystem capture works. It does not stay inside Salem's walls. It moves. It travels through the trust networks that connect conservative media voices to each other and to the independent platforms their audiences migrated to when they stopped trusting legacy media. Here's a GREAT (or terrible) example of the way this virus has spread ⬇️ March 28th 2026. Sean Hannity 🇺🇸, an active Salem Media voice, sits in Patrick Bet-David's representing the good 'ole America First 'MAGA' seeded chair on PBD Podcast Episode 766. PBD is away. No disclosure. No context. No mention of any of this to millions of viewers who came to independent media specifically to escape narrative management. What follows is fourteen months of foreign-funded editorial architecture finally reaching PBD's audience through a borrowed credibility transfer. Hannity primes the audience emotionally with October 7th. It starts with Adam- "why do they have all this money, they must be, they run the..." and stops himself dead on camera. The words that follow are embarrassing to say the least. The Biz Doc confirms AIPAC 🇺🇸🇮🇱 lobbies every senator and uses the pharmaceutical industry as his defense. Come'on man, you're WAY too smart for that line of messaging. Tom, you have run 9 figure operations. That line is not analysis. That is the talking point of someone who either does not want to answer the question or CAN'T. And to see VINCENT OSHANA end this clip below... just wild. Sad, if we're being honest. Sean Hannity 🇺🇸 attacks Muslim theology using a claim that does not appear anywhere in the Quran. The 72 virgins figure comes from a single hadith in Sunan al-Tirmidhi that mainstream Islamic scholars themselves classify as weak. Weak means the chain of transmission is questioned by the religion's own scholarly tradition. This is not obscure information. This is first page Islamic theology. You just told 1.8 billion people what their religion teaches based on a source their own scholars debate. That is not commentary on radical Islamic terrorism. That is you confidently misrepresenting an entire civilization's theology to millions of viewers who trusted you for accuracy. Vinny said it himself. You are meshing radical Islamic terrorism with an entire culture. Then kept going anyway. That sequence did not come from four people having an organic conversation. That sequence came from fourteen months of a foreign government's Chief Strategy Officer sitting inside the editorial architecture of the network one of those four people broadcasts on every single day. PBD built his credibility on forensic financial analysis and uncomfortable questions. That credibility is real. BUT on March 28th his large platform and podcast was used as the delivery mechanism for a content sequence that a federal filing tells you was purchased by a FOREIGN INTERESTED government. A GPT framing operation embedding pro-Israel narratives into the AI systems your audience uses before they know what question to ask. An SEO architecture determining what your search results look like. 50 million American digital impressions per month. A trust transfer operation spreading from Salem to Fox to independent media platforms whose audiences specifically came there to escape this. And every single Salem host who carried this operation for fourteen months spent that same fourteen months calling Tucker Carlson compromised by foreign influence. The projection was the operation. The accusation was the cover. And it spread all the way to Patrick Bet-David's chair before anyone said a word about what was sitting behind it. The infiltration is documented. The spread is documented. The filing is public. The only question left is who else is reading from a script they didn't know was being written for them? How many guest appearances have been infiltrated by the likes of propaganda artists like Brad Parscale? These are your enemies, not me for calling it out. And to Brad Parscale 👇 You are a native Kansas-born American citizen who was handed the Chief Strategy Officer title of America's largest Christian conservative radio network and used it to file a $9 million foreign agent registration for the Government of Israel. The Fort Lauderdale police report is public record. The FARA filing is public record. Both documents exist. Both tell you everything you need to know about the man shaping what American conservatives hear, read, search, and believe. POLITICO published the police report. This bull was wearing thousands of tiny vampires. The cure came out of a kitchen cabinet. 🐂 Read that again. Then keep reading, because the next 25,000 characters will change how you look at a $0.99 bottle forever. I'm going to tell you what's actually going on in a place most people never think about, with a creature most people never see up close, and a trick that makes experienced ranchers go quiet for a second when they first hear it. Not because it's magic. Because it's uncomfortably simple. And simple things that work are the most dangerous ideas in any industry. They threaten the people who sell the complicated ones. Let's go. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 1/ THE ENEMY YOU CAN'T SEE UNTIL IT'S TOO LATE Every second, somewhere on this planet, a tiny arachnid the size of a sesame seed is climbing a blade of grass, waiting. It has no eyes worth mentioning. It has no wings. It cannot jump. It cannot fly. What it has is patience, and a sensor on its front legs called Haller's organ that can detect the carbon dioxide you exhale, the heat your body radiates, and the vibration of your footsteps. It waits. For days. For weeks. For months, if needed. One tick can survive many months without a single meal. Then something warm walks past, and it latches on. That's the whole strategy. No speed. No strength. Just a patient parasite and a warm body. And it works so well that ticks have been doing it for over 100 million years. They were crawling around while dinosaurs were still the main characters. You are not dealing with a pest. You are dealing with one of the most successful blood-feeding designs evolution has ever produced. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 2/ THE NUMBER THAT SHOULD MAKE YOU SIT DOWN Here's what almost nobody outside agriculture knows. In Brazil alone, the cattle tick is estimated to cost the livestock industry billions of dollars every single year. Researchers regularly cite figures north of 3 billion USD annually in losses. Billions. For an animal smaller than a grain of rice when hungry. Globally, tick-borne burdens on cattle are measured in the tens of billions when you add lost weight, lost milk, damaged hides, disease, treatment costs, and mortality. Think about that. The most expensive predator in modern cattle production isn't a wolf, isn't a drought, isn't a market crash. It's an arachnid with a body you could cover with a pencil eraser. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 3/ WHY A BULL IS THE PERFECT BUFFET A tick doesn't pick a victim randomly. It picks a very specific kind of target. Warm. Large. Thick-blooded. Slow-moving. Crowded together with others. Now look at a feedlot. A feedlot is a place where hundreds or thousands of animals live shoulder to shoulder, eating on a schedule, standing in the same mud, rubbing on the same posts. To you, it looks like a farm. To a tick, it looks like an all-you-can-eat restaurant with a loyalty program. And bulls? Bulls are the premium seats. Big frames. Dark hides that soak up heat. Thick necks and folds where the skin is thin and warm: behind the ears, under the jaw, around the dewlap, inside the legs, under the tail. Ticks love folds. They love places the animal can't easily lick, scratch, or rub. If you've ever wondered why parasites seem to find the exact spot you can't reach, now you know. That's not an accident. That's their entire evolutionary job. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 4/ THE MATH THAT GETS TERRIFYING Let's talk about reproduction, because this is where it goes from gross to genuinely scary. A single engorged female cattle tick can drop off the animal and lay on the order of 2,000 to 3,000 eggs, sometimes more depending on the species and conditions. Read the next part slowly. One female. Three thousand eggs. A few weeks later, thousands of larvae are climbing grass, headed for the nearest warm body. If even a fraction of them succeed, you don't have a tick problem anymore. You have a tick economy. Now multiply that by the number of ticks already on a single heavily infested animal. Then multiply that by a pen of animals. Then by a farm. Then by a warm, wet season when pasture conditions are perfect. This is why ranchers don't talk about ticks the way people talk about mosquitoes. They talk about them the way people talk about a slow-moving flood. You can't stop the water by yelling at it. You need a system. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 5/ WHAT TICKS ACTUALLY DO TO AN ANIMAL People imagine ticks as "a little blood loss." That's like imagining a tax audit as "a little paperwork." A heavy infestation can mean: → Chronic blood loss and anemia → Reduced appetite and slower weight gain → Poorer feed conversion, meaning the animal eats the same but gains less → Damaged hide, which lowers leather value → Stress, which weakens immunity → Transmission of blood parasites that cause serious diseases like babesiosis and anaplasmosis, sometimes called "tick fever" Here's the part that hurts the most: much of the damage is invisible. You don't see the weight the animal didn't gain. You don't see the days added to finishing time. You don't see the feed that was converted into parasite blood instead of beef. Money leaks out of the system silently. No alarm. No invoice. Just a thinner margin at the end of the cycle and a vague feeling that "this lot didn't perform." The most expensive problems are always the ones that don't send you a bill. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 6/ THE CHEMICAL ARMS RACE NOBODY WINS So what does the industry do? For decades, the answer has been chemistry. Pour-ons. Sprays. Dips. Injectables. Entire product families with lab-coat names and glossy brochures. And for a while, it worked beautifully. Then evolution did what evolution always does. Ticks started adapting. When you expose a huge population to a compound, the ones that happen to survive are the ones with a slight genetic edge. They reproduce. Their offspring inherit that edge. Repeat for a few generations and you've effectively trained a population of super-survivors. This is called acaricide resistance, and it is a documented, worldwide problem. Researchers have found resistant cattle tick populations against multiple chemical classes in several countries. Here's the cruel twist: Every time a farmer sprays, he's running a selection experiment. He's not just killing ticks. He's choosing which ticks get to have children. So the arms race escalates. New molecules. New combinations. New price tags. New resistance. And a lot of producers are stuck in the middle, paying more for products that work a little less each year. Which brings us to the question that quietly shows up on every ranch: What if the answer isn't always a stronger poison? What if sometimes it's physics? ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 7/ THE LOOPHOLE THAT LIVES IN YOUR KITCHEN Here's where it gets interesting. You know that bottle by your sink? The one you use to cut grease off a frying pan? It does not work by being "poisonous." It works by being a surfactant. A surfactant is a molecule with two personalities. One end loves water. The other end loves oil and fat. That split personality lets it grab grease and drag it off a surface and into the water. Now ask yourself a question most people never ask: What is a tick's body covered in? Answer: a waxy, lipid-rich outer layer. A protective coating that keeps it from drying out, and keeps water from getting where it shouldn't. That coating is the tick's armor. It's why a tick can sit on a hot blade of grass for months without turning into a raisin. And what do surfactants do to waxy, fatty coatings? They break them down. They lower surface tension. They let water creep into places it was never meant to go. Insects and arachnids breathe through tiny openings called spiracles. When surface tension collapses and the protective film is disrupted, those openings can get overwhelmed. You don't need a neurotoxin. You need the right physics at the right moment. Soap doesn't poison the tick. Soap takes away the tick's raincoat. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 8/ WHY THIS FEELS LIKE CHEATING Think about how backwards this sounds. An entire global industry built around sophisticated molecules, regulatory approvals, resistance management, and product launches. And one of the oldest ideas in pest control is: dissolve the barrier, break the surface, let physics do the work. This isn't new science. Gardeners have used soap sprays on soft-bodied pests for generations. Fire departments use surfactant foams. Wildlife rescuers use dish soap to remove oil from seabirds precisely because it cuts through grease. The principle is ancient. What's new is seeing it applied at ranch scale, on an animal that weighs more than a motorcycle. And the reason it grabs attention isn't because it's complicated. It's because your brain keeps whispering: "No way that's allowed to be this easy." ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 9/ A WARNING I'D BE A FRAUD NOT TO GIVE YOU Now let me be the adult in the room for a minute, because viral posts that skip this part get people hurt. Folk methods are fascinating. They are not automatically a replacement for a professional tick-control program. A few honest truths: → Washing can knock down the ticks that are on the animal today. It does not remove the larvae waiting in the pasture, the eggs in the soil, or the ticks that will climb on tomorrow. → Tick control on a real operation is a system: pasture management, rotation, animal genetics, strategic treatment timing, monitoring, and veterinary guidance. → Concentration, product choice, and application matter. More is not better. Some additives and products can irritate skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. → Disease risk is real. If an animal shows weakness, pale gums, fever, dark urine, or loss of appetite, that is a veterinarian conversation, not a viral-post conversation. → Regulations vary by country and by market. If animals go into the food chain, the rules about what can be applied to them matter. So treat this as what it is: a window into how creative, practical people think about a brutal problem, not a prescription. Fascinating is not the same as approved. Okay. Back to the good stuff. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 10/ THE PSYCHOLOGY OF "THE CHEAP FIX" Why does a story like this land so hard? Because it hits three deep triggers at once. TRIGGER ONE: The underdog tool. We are wired to love it when the small beats the big. A household item versus an industrial problem. It feels like justice. TRIGGER TWO: The hidden obvious. The best "aha" moments are not "I never would have known." They are "I knew all the pieces, I just never connected them." Soap. Wax. Surface tension. Parasite. Boom. TRIGGER THREE: The visible result. Humans trust what they can see. A before-and-after you can verify with your own eyes beats a hundred pages of lab data. Seeing is believing, and believing is sharing. If you ever wonder why some ideas spread like fire and others die in a PDF, it's rarely about being correct. It's about being visible, simple, and slightly unbelievable. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 11/ THE LIFE OF A TICK IS A HORROR MOVIE WITH A SPREADSHEET Let me give you the full lifecycle, because once you see it, you can't unsee it. STAGE 1: THE EGG. A female drops from the animal onto the ground, finds a sheltered spot, and lays thousands of eggs. Then she dies. Mission complete. STAGE 2: THE LARVA. Tiny. Six legs. Newly hatched and hungry. They climb vegetation in clusters and wait for a host. STAGE 3: THE NYMPH. After feeding, the larva molts into an eight-legged nymph. Bigger. Hungrier. STAGE 4: THE ADULT. Another molt, another meal. Adults feed, mate on the host, and the engorged female swells to many times her original size. STAGE 5: THE DROP. When she's full, she lets go, falls to the ground, and the cycle restarts. For some cattle tick species, the entire parasitic phase can happen on a single animal. That's what makes them so efficient. One host. Whole life. Total commitment. The cattle tick doesn't visit your animal. It moves in. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 12/ WHY WET WEATHER IS THE VILLAIN'S FAVORITE SEASON Ticks are not fans of drying out. They love humidity, warm temperatures, and thick ground cover. Which means a rainy, warm spell is basically a growth hormone for tick populations. Eggs hatch better. Larvae survive longer. Vegetation stays damp. Mud accumulates in pens. Animals stand closer together. If you've ever heard ranchers say "the ticks are exploding this month," this is what they mean. It's not exaggeration. It's population dynamics with a wet-season tailwind. And in a confinement setting, where animals spend a lot of time in a limited area, everything accelerates. More contact. More transfer. More chances for a few ticks to become a very visible problem very fast. The scary part is the timeline. Early on, it looks like nothing. A few dots. A bit of crawling near the ears. Easy to ignore. Then one day you look again and the dots have become a carpet. Exponential growth is invisible right up until it isn't. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 13/ THE REAL BATTLE IS ABOUT TIME Here's the insight that separates amateurs from pros in any field: The problem is rarely the thing you see. It's how long you waited to deal with it. A tick problem caught early is a quick fix. A tick problem caught late is a crisis with a veterinary bill. The same pattern shows up everywhere: → A small leak is a plumber. A flooded floor is a restoration company. → A small bug is a patch. A big bug is a postmortem. → A small conversation is a correction. A big silence is a divorce. → A small habit is a tweak. A big habit is an identity. Compounding works in both directions. It makes your wins enormous. It makes your ignored problems catastrophic. The farmer who inspects his animals every day isn't paranoid. He's just early. And being early is the most underrated competitive advantage on earth. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 14/ WHAT TOP OPERATORS KNOW THAT AMATEURS DON'T Spend time around people who run serious livestock operations and you notice something. They don't talk about "a product." They talk about "a program." They think in layers: LAYER 1: Know your enemy. Which species, which season, which life stage dominates right now. LAYER 2: Know your numbers. Counts per animal. Which animals carry the most. Which lots are worst. Patterns over time. LAYER 3: Rotate the weapons. Not using the same chemistry over and over, because that's exactly how you breed resistance. LAYER 4: Break the cycle in the environment. Pasture rest periods, rotation, cleaner pens, drainage, and managing the places where ticks complete their lifecycle. LAYER 5: Breed for it. Some cattle genetics show more natural resistance to ticks than others. Over generations, that matters more than any spray. LAYER 6: Use creative, low-cost methods where they make sense. Mechanical removal. Physical methods. Smart timing. Practical tricks that cost almost nothing and reduce the load. The amateur wants one magic bullet. The pro builds a net. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 15/ A TICK'S DIRTIEST SECRET: IT'S A TINY PHARMACY Here's a fact that makes people rethink everything. When a tick bites, it doesn't just drink. It injects. Tick saliva is a cocktail of compounds that can: → Numb the area so the host doesn't feel it → Thin the blood and prevent clotting → Suppress local immune responses → Keep the wound open for days Think about that engineering. A creature the size of a lentil that can anesthetize you, keep your blood flowing, and quiet your immune system, all while dangling from your skin like it pays rent. Scientists study tick saliva for potential medical uses because of how sophisticated it is. Parasites, it turns out, are tiny biochemical geniuses. Which is why the fight against them is never just about "killing bugs." It's a fight against a lineage that has had a hundred million years to practice. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 16/ THE HIDDEN LESSON ABOUT "EXPERTS" Let me tell you what really happens when a simple trick goes viral. Some experts cheer. Some experts roll their eyes. Some experts get defensive. And the loudest reaction is almost never about the trick. It's about status. When someone with no lab, no grant, and no title shows a result that looks too easy, it threatens a hierarchy built on complexity. But here's the mature take, the one that holds up: The right response to a surprising result is not worship and it's not dismissal. It's curiosity. Why would this work? When would it not? What are the limits? What does the evidence say? What does the mechanism predict? What would falsify it? The best thinkers I know use the same three-step reflex: "Interesting." "Why might that be true?" "How would I test it safely?" Be the person who runs the third step. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 17/ ON THE ECONOMICS OF CHEAP A bottle of household detergent costs a couple of dollars. A specialty veterinary product can cost many times that per animal, per treatment, per cycle. Now multiply across a herd. Even if a cheap method only reduces the burden, delays reinfestation, or supports a broader program, the economics change. Margins in cattle are thin. A few dollars per head across thousands of head is the difference between a profitable lot and a stressful one. That's why "boring, cheap, and good enough" beats "elegant, expensive, and perfect" in the real world so often. Industries are not won by the best idea. They're won by the best idea that survives contact with a budget. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 18/ WHAT THIS HAS TO DO WITH YOUR LIFE (YES, YOURS) You're probably not a cattle rancher. So why does any of this matter to you? Because the structure of the story is universal. There's always a big, expensive, complicated "official" solution. There's always a small, cheap, overlooked principle. And the people who win are the ones who understand the mechanism well enough to know which one fits. → In business: the fix is sometimes a better process, not a bigger budget. → In health: the fix is sometimes sleep, not another supplement. → In content: the fix is sometimes a sharper first line, not a bigger camera. → In relationships: the fix is sometimes a direct sentence, not another month of hints. Mechanism beats mystery. If you understand WHY something works, you can adapt it everywhere. If you only memorize WHAT works, you're stuck the moment conditions change. Learn mechanisms. Collect principles. Ignore hype. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 19/ THE ANATOMY OF A STOP-SCROLL Since we're here, let me teach you the thing I've learned from a decade of watching posts explode and posts die. The best hooks do three things in about one second: ONE: They create a picture. "A bull wearing thousands of tiny vampires." You see it instantly. No effort. TWO: They create a contradiction. "The cure came out of a kitchen cabinet." Big problem, tiny solution. The brain wants to resolve the gap. THREE: They create a debt. The reader now owes themselves an answer. How? Why? Is that real? They can't leave without paying it. Curiosity is not a feeling. It's an itch. And itches demand scratching. The people who make millions of impressions aren't smarter writers. They're better at creating itches. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 20/ SEVEN BRUTAL FACTS ABOUT TICKS (SAVE THIS) A hungry tick can wait months, sometimes longer, for a single meal. A single engorged female can produce thousands of eggs. Ticks sense carbon dioxide, heat, and vibration. Their saliva can numb, thin blood, and quiet immune responses. They thrive in warm, humid conditions with plenty of vegetation. Resistance to chemical treatments has been documented in many regions. The visible ticks on an animal are only part of the story. The rest are in the environment. Number seven is the one that changes strategy. You can win the battle on the animal and lose the war on the ground. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 21/ THE QUESTIONS SMART PEOPLE ASK AFTER SEEING A TRICK LIKE THIS If you're the kind of person who wants to think clearly, here's your checklist: → What is the mechanism? Is it plausible physically and biologically? → What is the evidence? Observation, trials, repeated results? → What are the failure modes? When does it not work? → What are the side effects? Skin, eyes, stress to the animal, environment? → What are the rules? Food safety, local regulation, withdrawal considerations? → What does a professional in this exact field say? → How does it fit a bigger program rather than replacing one? Do this with every viral hack, in every domain, forever. You'll still enjoy the surprises. You'll just stop paying for the scams. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 22/ ONE MORE PHYSICS LESSON (THIS ONE'S FUN) Let's go back to surface tension, because it deserves more love. Water molecules cling to each other. That cohesion creates a skin on the surface. It's why a water strider can stand on a pond and why droplets bead up on a waxed car. Add a surfactant, and that skin weakens. Water spreads instead of beading. It wets surfaces it would normally slide off. Now imagine a tiny creature whose survival depends on being water-resistant. Change the surface chemistry, and its biggest advantage becomes a vulnerability. That's a pattern worth remembering: Every strength is tuned for a specific environment. Change the environment, and the strength can turn into a liability. → A fortress is great until the siege shifts to supply lines. → A moat is great until the drought comes. → A company's moat is great until the technology it depends on changes. → A tick's waxy armor is great until the water stops behaving. Never fall in love with your advantage. Study the conditions it needs. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 23/ THE FUTURE: WHERE THIS IS HEADED What does smarter tick control look like in the coming years? → Genetic selection for naturally resistant cattle → Vaccines targeting tick biology → Sensors and cameras that detect early infestation patterns → Data-driven treatment timing instead of calendar-based habits → Integrated programs that combine chemistry, pasture, genetics, and monitoring → Better understanding of low-cost physical methods and where they genuinely help Notice what's missing. There's no single silver bullet in that list. The future of pest control looks less like a weapon and more like an operating system. And the producers who treat it that way will be the ones still profitable when the next resistance wave hits. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 24/ WHAT I WANT YOU TO TAKE FROM THIS Forget the ticks for a second. Here's the real lesson, the one hiding under the story: The world is full of problems that look like they need complicated solutions, and some of them do. But a surprising number of them are waiting for someone to ask a better question. Not "what is the strongest thing I can throw at this?" This bull was wearing thousands of tiny vampires. Not "what is the strongest thing I can throw at this?" But "what is this thing's weakness, and what simple force touches it?" That question has built companies. Won wars. Fixed machines. Saved projects. Solved arguments. It's the question behind every elegant solution you've ever admired. Ask it more often. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 25/ THE ONE-MINUTE VERSION (FOR THE SCROLLERS) If you skipped to the bottom, here's everything: → Ticks cost cattle producers billions and keep adapting to chemical treatments. → Their waxy outer layer is both their armor and a potential weakness. → Surfactants, like those in everyday detergents, can disrupt waxy and oily barriers. → Cheap physical methods are fascinating, but they work best as part of a full program, not as a replacement for veterinary guidance. → The real skill is understanding mechanisms, not collecting hacks. → Early detection beats late reaction. Always. That's it. That's the post. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 26/ IF YOU ONLY DO THREE THINGS AFTER READING THIS Next time something looks too simple to work, don't dismiss it and don't worship it. Ask what mechanism would make it true. Look for the thing in your own life that's quietly compounding. A small problem you've been ignoring. A small habit you've been feeding.
