Gotta be honest here, the fact that this is running on a GBA is pretty f******* unreal.

The janky texture mapping ❤️

I feel like once a year I find out about a new (old) GBA game that pushed the system to its very limit.

Excuse me??? Why did we never talked about this one???

The GBA was more powerful than the SNES using the FX2 chip and that could produce 3D graphics, so doesn't surprise me that the GBA can do it better

I'm looking at this, reading that this is a GBA game and I'm like "ain't no fucking way... this looks like it's being played on a console!"

I've seen far more impressive 3d environments on a handheld before. Have you heard of the "the switch"?

People need to realize how insane it is to run 3D games on a GBA, the way devs could extract all of its hardware is fucking cool.

I played this game so much as a kid, it was so ridiculous

I still can't believe this was ported to the gba.

some OG CrazyTaxi action going on 😎🤘🏼

The Need for speed underground port was also a fairly impressive game for the console too!

This game could easily pass for an early PSone or Sega Saturn game. Absolutely incredible work 👍

Literally just PS1 Twisted Metal Graphics and Physics

@SpikeVT_AD

Try OpenLara, Super Mario 64 GBA port. Nowadays homebrew developers are flexing "they can do better 3D games than any official game" because in the GBA time so developers did bigger console games and for GBA mostly SNES port and shovelware devs made games.

absolute banger.

Didn't know it was on the gba

@_Zyzx_ is it just me or is anyone being reminded of that one hot wheels ps2 game? Not the toys one, i mean like you get power ups like weapons n shit. Like oil barrels, crossbows, rockets, and machine guns if I'm not mistaken.

That's a gba game? Dang

Best 3D GBA game ever! The speed here is really FAST on circuit tracks!

The GBA is what the 32X sadly never became, despite the 32X being significantly more powerful. The 32X and its buyers, like myself, deserved so many great games. But they never came. 😠

This is the only good 3d gba game

I've been binging on GBA games recently and I have a whole new appreciation for them as an adult. These things were really well made considering what the developers were working with.

played the shit out of the gamecube version when I was a kid. I kept hearing "the man and the monkey seat" in the music track "up & running" for the game.

This could be an early ps1 game. Wtf how come ive never heard of this?

any emulator able to 120fps it? or at least 60 constant???

Here’s another one!

interesting how this version uses the arcade version's announcer instead of the replacement one from the console ports

Oh, boy. Never played this before, but the thought of a cab driving up a building gives me a reminder of one of the worst games ever.

Holy shit why i remember this!

This is probably the most impressive game on the hardware. Like, what you mean you just port a whole ass 3D arcade game into a god damn GBA??

never played this game or heard of it cool

For a GBA title this was impressive! Sure, the gameplay was a bit poor, but I'm surprised how much of this game was transferred from arcade all the way to a rinky-dinky cartrige!

Its crazy they got this to work on a gba lmao
