It’s my firm belief, now after all these years, that it was the brilliant performances from the actors that made Jaws a classic. Sure Spielberg is a genius, but the actors were so awesome….especially Robert Shaw who gave an all time top 10 performance

I saw the movie in the theater more than two dozen times during the summer of '75. Had the entire script committed to memory after so many viewings. The second feature was Walking Tall, Part 2, starring Bo Svenson. Oh, to be young again.
